We have just returned from a trip to Old Montreal. We checked out this spot based on our friends recommendations!
It truly did not disappoint as we returned every afternoon for happy hour!!
We love finding spots to sit at the bar & meet not only the servers, but regulars & visitors.
Our bartenders Holly & Alex (who bought my husband an over the top amazing sticky toffee dessert for his birthday) were outstanding. We were amazed at the amount of Guiness poured & the cocktails. My goodness as we are so used to seeing draft beer poured & not much else at our favourite spots in SW Ontario!!!
Drinks were tasty & not skimped on, the hummus was amazing & the dessert, well I think we licked the plate.
It is a very busy spot so if you want a spot at the bar or even a table, either reserve or get there early.
Highly recommend this great spot!! Wishing Holly all the best on her next adventure!! Merci!!!
Very cozy place, great service, nice staff. Delicious food, large selection. Fair price! Highly recommended!
Huge merchant at this spot & if I could give 10 stars I would, one of my favourite places in Montreal. Always recommend to my friends & anyone visiting because of the food & the amazing service. Breakfast lunch & dinner it's the spot. Phil Angie & Gabriella are the best thank you to the wolf & the mqn
We popped in to this pub for lunch at 11:40 & were quickly seated & served water. I had the house burger & fries with a pint of Stella , & my wife had the chicken pot pie with hot, lemon water. Both meals were excellent. The server was very friendly & attentive. I finished with an excellent latte (cafe au lait). As we were leaving (around 12:50) we noticed that the place was packed.
I highly recommend the Pub Wolf & Workman !
We stumbled upon this lovely pub on St. Patrick's Day. They were busy but warm & attentive, so we were willing to wait a bit. The scotch egg was delightful, & the STPCC (sticky toffee pudding carrot cake) was so delicious. The pints were good & the atmosphere was nice. Would recommend!!
The beverages were awesome, & the servers both times I went were energized & helpful. I even asked one where we should go next & they recommended a great follow up pub.
We got food the first time & split it three ways. The lamb pasta melted in the mouth & the cauliflower dish was a great add on. I would go back for more but just having drinks there was also fun.
Un super endroit que je recommande. On s'est régalé & à prix abordables . Merci 🙏😊
Had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, & full of flavor. The service was attentive & welcoming, & the atmosphere was perfect - lively but still intimate. Such a great spot for a night out. Highly recommend!
Almost immediately after this place opened, we became regulars. The servers were fantastic, the food was really good & we loved the courtyard terrace. Over the years we brought lots of friends & family to Wolf & Workman, & I always recommended it to people. So, why only 2 stars? We stopped going when we noticed it was claiming to be in the Old Port. When we asked our server once, she said:'Yeah, we know it's not but it's for tourists, I guess.' As longtime Old Montreal residents who supported Wolf & Workman (including in the slower winter months), we were ticked off. If they're lying to attract tourists, then maybe they don't care about residents. A neighbour who used to be a regular said he stopped going, too, because'if they're lying about being in the Old Port, what else are they lying about?' It's a shame that Wolf & Workman have decided to alienate Old Montreal residents. If you choose to go (& you should) you will likely get seated easily because there are a few less regulars using up tables.
