Had the Fisherman's pie & enjoyed it! Very generous with filling 🥧
Atmosphere resembles an English pub. Very quaint. Our bartender was great, she made our drinks very tasty. Great seats to watch the F1 qualifying. I ordered sourdough bread & I thought with butter on the side. Instead got two pieces of hard toast with butter melted into it. Would not order again. Other than that, it's fine!
We enjoyed an excellent weeknight dinner here. The atmosphere was very lively & we waited about 15 minutes for a 3 person table. We shared an excellent Scotch Egg before a variety of entrees including a gorgeous pot pie. Great selection of drinks. Would definitely return!
Made a last minute reservation on a holiday Monday & had an extraordinary experience. The drinks (including the'Negroni of the week') were phenomenal & reasonably priced. The food was INCREDIBLE - homemade chips with the most delicious French onion dip I've ever had. For my main I ordered the porch chop with white beans & chorizo & I've been craving it ever since. My wife ordered the chicken pot pie which was absolutely amazing. Last but not least - the service was absolute perfection. The servers were the friendliest & genuinely sweetest people I encountered on our trip, & we're talking Canada so everyone is already operating at a level of courtesy above & beyond the states. The service & the wonderful people at Wolf & Workman truly made our experience perfect. I only wish I could remember specific names! You will NOT regret a table, a drink, & some incredible food here. Cannot recommend enough.
Cozy pub in the heart of Old Montreal! Three of us shared the chicken pot pie (WOW!!!) & the lamb cavitelli. Delicious food & great service.
Amazing spot for excellent elevated pub food.
& perhaps meeting great company too.
Highly recomend the chicken pot pie - the best one I have ever had.
Might be the best chicken pot pie I have ever had. The pastry was extremely light & reminiscent of a yorkie. Service was very good & you can't beat the old Montreal atmosphere. Beef tartare was also....perfect. Saw someone else's scotch egg come to a table next to us & almost ordered it for dessert! I hope to visit again.
Great atmosphere. Classic old Montreal setting. Make sure to get the beef stroganoff pie!
Everything was amazing. The chicken pot pie was to die for. Thank you for everything !
This food was outstanding. I had a great hamburger (top 5 lifetime), & my wife had the best chicken pot pie that I have ever seen / smelled / tasted
We popped in to this pub for lunch at 11:40 & were quickly seated & served water. I had the house burger & fries with a pint of Stella , & my wife had the chicken pot pie with hot, lemon water. Both meals were excellent. The server was very friendly & attentive. I finished with an excellent latte (cafe au lait). As we were leaving (around 12:50) we noticed that the place was packed.
I highly recommend the Pub Wolf & Workman !
Great food good service...try the chicken pot pie its best in canada
The chicken pot pie was excellent. Beer was cold. Mussels & fries good flavor but did not come hot.
Service très attentionné, nourriture au delà des attentes, prix selon les attentes, il faut essayer le HOWARD SCOTCH EGG & le PIE AU BOEUF STROGANOFF, 2 plats extrêmement savoureux & qui sortent de l'ordinaire,
This was a lovely pub. The food was fantastic. They specialize in pot pies & I tried the braised beef pie. The flavors were amazing & the beef was perfectly cooked. Would return for sure.
You'll want a reservation (walking in is almost impossible) but it's for good reason!
We ordered the chicken pot pie (to die for), the Shepard's pie (pretty good), & one of the pasta dishes (phenomenal). The drinks were great & the service excellent.
We celebrated a birthday here & the staff helped make the night special.
Had a wonderful dinner here. Nice & cozy & the pot pie was killer! Great on a cold winter's day.
