My favourite pub in Montréal. I eat here every time I visit. Had to finally leave a five star review because the pork chop & salad I had tonight was the best meal I've ever had in a restaurant!!

Really cool place for evening drinks & a bite to eat with good music. On the night we did have a significant wait on the food which we were not informed about but it was fine. The potted chicken, fish pie were good but the fries which accompanied the house burger were burnt which was a shame as they were nicely seasoned. Price wise probably a bit pricey for what is obviously pub food but the venue dictates that to some extent.
Just what old Mtl needed. What a team they put together. Wine, cocktails & food done right. It's so beautiful inside & everyone is so friendly. Reminds me of my other favorite pub lord William. Great job guys I'll keep coming back for sure!
Un pub très sympa situé juste derrière la basilique. Le personnel est adorable & de bon conseil. Le pub est un peu bruyant mais pas plus que la normale dans ce genre d'établissement. Juste une étoile de moins pour les tarifs car même si la bière était bonne, durant l'happy hour nous les avons trouvées quand même prohibitifs.
Fantastic spot for high level pub grub, with traditional flair. The Full English is a great start to my day, & their array of meat pies & hearty ales, is a perfect end to mine. Lovely service, friendly staff, awesome name, & very nice aprons. Put this on your list & go try!! Ps - very dog friendly 👍🏻
So you come into a pub like place expecting pub food. Which is fine, but this place is next level!! Got a couple Entree's & they were fantastic. The salmon & the burrata! Wow!!! & that cream ale is fantastic!!
I really like this pub! There's not a lot of vegetarian options but it's nice to go for a drink. I love their terrace inside & the one outside during the summer! Go visit if you're around the old port.
Don't have much to say, but the vibes are great. I got a'franklin' to try something new, but it wasn't my cup of tea personally. However, the atmosphere of this pub was great & employees are very lively!

Nice pub but I was surprised no Belgian ales. Very poor service from our waiter. after he brought our beer & realized we weren't ordering food he avoided us. We had to flag another waiter to bring our check.
Really cool little pub right behind the basilica, Friendly staff, good price beer (for the location) & excellent food. Burgundy lion pub group. Especially loved the escargot toast. Super pub en arrière de la basilique notre dame. Service amicable, bière à bon prix, & nourriture délicieuse. Le toast au escargot est fantastic! Pub du groupe burgundy lion.
Great spot with excellent food & nice drinks. The prices are good compared to other pubs & restaurants in the area. The food is very tasty. Everything we tried was delicious. The salad definitely surprised us in a positive way. The chicken pot pie, the soup, & the hummus platter are also excellent, but the salad is very special. The service was excellent as well.
Pub très très bruyant & dense. Le personnel est sympathique & peu envahissant, donc aussi, ne viendront pas souvent à votre table j'ai pris des pâtes qui étaient très salées par contre mon entrée d'escargots était délicieuse.

What a fun Montréal infused British pub! Excellent service. The porc croquettes were a pleasant surprise, & the chicken pot pie was crazy good! The small dessert menu included the sticky toffee pudding like some we enjoyed in England. We had several delicious cocktails.
Wow. Just Wow. So happy that we ducked into this pub last night. I highly recommend the beef stroganoff pie & a pint of the eponymous cream ale. There were many other items on the menu which I hope to try on future visits to Montreal.
We stumbled upon this place & so happy we did that we actually came back twice this weekend! Spacious bar that included heated patio & ample seating. Foodwise, it's a traditional English pub with really tasty & fresh food. We had ordered the Scotch egg & croquettes for some apps to go with our drinks & they were perfection. Drinks were delicious. Servers were really attentive & friendly. Overall, a really fun vibe when you walk through the doors & we can't wait to come back! Update: their patio is dog friendly so this is a total bonus for our fur friends!
