The atmosphere right away is pleasant & vivacious with staff milling about helping customers in a pleasant way. There weren't any seats available when we got there but after a few minutes gave us a reserved table that likely punked out on them. Great beer selection, some microbrewery choices. It was late so our selection of food was with classic pub fare, which we were more than happy with.View more
Nice cosy space with a great beer selection, & good food.View more
Nice pub with fairly nice prices. The house beer & wine are quite good as well. The place can get noisy at times because of music our when there are too many people, but the ambience is sufficiently good for one to enjoy. There's a TV as well so you can keep an eye on the score 😉View more
After a day of wandering around as a tourist in the old port & indulging in some drinks, we needed some poutine. Pub St Pierre had delicious poutine, a variety of beer, & great atmosphere. I like the nautical tattoo themed decor. Tip- get some shrimp on the poutine!View more
Emma the hostess was awesome , she got me seated at the bar quickly, recommended getting the classic poutine & add steak to it. It was incredible!! Bar tender recommended a local beer & was also great!!View more
Had a beer upstairs in the refined atmosphere of their cocktail lounge & felt right at home ordering either an IPA or a signature from their cocktail menu. I was dressed in business attire but would have felt comfortable in nice jeans & a shirt, but probably not sneakersView more
Pub Saint-Pierre is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm & inviting atmosphere that perfectly blends rustic charm with modern comfort. The staff is incredibly friendly & attentive, making you feel right at home. The menu is a delightful mix of classic pub fare & innovative dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Their craft beer selection is top-notch, offering something for every palate. Whether you're there for a casual lunch, a hearty dinner, or just drinks with friends, Pub Saint-Pierre delivers an exceptional experience every time. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great food, drinks, & ambiance!View more
A British pub where I watched the England v Netherlands Euro 2024 semi final. The place was at capacity & screaming whenever something happened in the game. Just had a beer, which was good, but talked to a local who said their food is great too.View more
bike the canal on a Sunday then pop in here for a beeView more
Great pub in the heart of old town. Loved the draft beer & Poutine 👉💯💯💯💯View more
The food is pretty underwhelming. Nothing was fantastic. I had the pad Thai & it was probably the saltiest thing I had ever eaten. I know chefs have their bad days but this was inedible. The beer was the best part. The poutine was just okay. Not sure if I'll ever return but if I do, I'd absolutely pass on the food. Seems like a tourist trap.View more
We really enjoyed our experience except we were overcharged for three beers. We ordered four beers during happy hour & only received the happy hour price for one of the beers at $7.00. We arrived at 4:30pm & left around 8:30pm. There is no way we had only one beer between 4:30pm & 7pm...please look into this. Thank you.
Great little spot! They have a snack menu that's available pretty late so even if the kitchen is closed you can get pretty hardy food! I also enjoyed the litres of beer they serve, I don't think I they did pitchers when I went so we each just caved & got a litre & then always means a good time.View more

I love Pub Saint Pierre, it's one of my favorite in the city. The atmosphere is great, the service is prompt & friendly & the beer selection & food is always excellent!
Must visit for us when in Montreal! The coolest little place for great beer, food, & vibes.
Superb venue, great beers, brunch & outstanding service. Thanks Von for opening early so we could watch the FA Cup football final!
Great bar, very cozy, great ambience. They have oyster happy hour until 7, a great deal. Good food, good selection of beer.
The reasons I did not give 5 stars are as follow:
1- I made a reservation online about 1 hour before I showed up on their website. When I arrived I was told they did not have my reservation & the place was full for the night. After a bit of negotiation I was able to get a table for 1.5hr only as long as I was out after that time :(
2- It is overpriced for the quantity of food & a beer is 8$, drink is 14$ during the happy hour :( also they charged 8$ to add grilled beef to your plate but the quantity is about one bite of beef. (32$ for a poutine with beef)
Other than that the place is cosy & clean.
Staff are friendly
they speak both French & English.
We stopped in off the street at 7pm on a Saturday night & miraculously the server let us know he could squeeze us in even without a reservation! The place was absolutely packed & I am so grateful we waited the 15mins for a table. My husband had the Cream Ale & I had an Amaretto sour- the beer & cocktail were both absolutely fantastic! We both ordered the Bavette & it was INCREDIBLE. Food came quickly, & in 1.5 hours we both enjoyed several drinks as well as our food. One of the owners was in the establishment & we were able to flag him as we left just to tell him what a wonderful meal we had in the awesome atmosphere! Cant recommend this spot enough!!! Do not miss out- make a reservation for sure!
Love this place! I missed the English pubs & finally I found it. Friendly staff, good food, good beer.
Fantastic small pub with great beer & food. Staff are extremely helpful.
Great food that's well beyond standard bar fare. Nice ambiance & good selection of beer & wine.
Always a great pleasure to visit the Pub Saint-Pierre. Food is great, beer is fresh, the atmosphere, the patrons & staff friendly.
We went two times during our stay in Montreal. We finally tasted all the beers from Quebec. It was great. Music, beers... everything was perfect! The waiters were really kind & friendly. I would recommend to visit this pub to spend a good time, relaxing while you take some drinks & eat some snacks.
Great time at Sunday brunch. Always fun to visit with surprising good 'pub food' & beer, & great staff, too. Can be rather crowded
so keep in mind if you're worried about that. Bottles of wine are 1/2 price on Wednesdays BTW.
