Dans l’ensemble, Pub Saint Pierre est perçu comme un pub chaleureux et vivant du Vieux-Montréal, avec une ambiance conviviale et une offre solide de bières, de cocktails et de plats généreux qui témoignent d’une cuisine de pub bien réalisée. Les avis évoquent des moments forts pour les burgers maison, les tartares et les fruits de mer, des poutines réussies et des boissons créatives, le tout dans une atmosphère qui peut être animée ou détendue selon l’heure et le cadre, la terrasse estivale étant appréciée et l’endroit propice aussi bien aux groupes qu’au brunch. Des réserves subsistent sur la constance du service et la rapidité en période d’affluence, sur quelques plats ou portions qui peuvent varier et sur des tarifs parfois jugés élevés pour le niveau offert. L’endroit séduit par son décor authentique du Vieux-Montréal et son ambiance festive mais reste une expérience qui peut varier d’une visite à l’autre, d’où l’intérêt de réserver et d’explorer les cocktails et l’offre culinaire tout en sachant que le ressenti peut différer selon le soir et le personnel.
Came in for a work 5 a 7 with colleagues. We were told that our reservation was valid for 2-hours (so far so good). About 5 mins after we were served a fresh round of drinks (close to the 2-hour mark), the staff came & told us we had to leave the table immediately. Our beers were still completely full so we asked the staff what to do if we were literally being kicked out of the table, they told us to stand up in the corridor (outside the toilets, in the way of staff coming in & out of the kitchen). We ended up walking out to finish our drinks (the 10C night somehow felt warmer than the cold treatment we got from the staff!), this caused yet another discussion with the staff. Never coming back!
I've really enjoyed sharing this anecdote with everyone I know... as people say:'your customers are your best advertisers!' interestingly, as I've shared this story with other colleagues & friends, many people have told me that the same thing happened to them!
Sloppy strategy Pub Saint Pierre, particularly when your clientele is made of local working people, who, like us, organize work gatherings often... we will continue to do this, just not at your pub!
Writing a review as I see another recent similar reviewer about a similar case & this could be a trend to be watchful of. I went to this pub recently & got a drink & appetizers, including oysters. Later that night I got severe food poisoning, which took the whole weekend to fully recover from, & my friend had a similar experience. I advise the pub & future clients to be careful.
I had no problem with the service, but this was a very unfortunate outcome, hence my 1 stars.

The place is very nice, our waiter very friendly. I came with a friend & we both ordered a cocktail as well as 6 oysters to share. After 3 oysters & half my drink, my stomach hurt so much I told her to finish my alcohol. Later that night, at 3AM my friend had food poisoning until the next day. I think the oysters might have been bad. For that despite everything else positive, I can only give one star.
Pub Saint Pierre, Fantastic Spot, food is great, drinks are on point. Staff very friendly, owner was great to chat with. Snacks menu was really good, gyoza dumplings 🔥 & the olives were 💣
This pub had great food & truly excellent service. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, & made us feel very welcome from start to finish.
The atmosphere was the perfect chill pub vibe - relaxed, cozy, & a great place to unwind & enjoy a meal or drinks. Everything we ordered was delicious & came out just right.
It is a little on the pricey side for what it is, but the quality of the food & the outstanding service definitely made it worth the visit. Overall, a really enjoyable experience & a great spot to spend an evening
We were able to snag a last-minute reservation here for a New Year's Eve dinner with the family, which was a win in itself. Our reservation was earlier than usual (7:30), & when we arrived the dining room was about three-quarters full-busy, but not chaotic like we initially expected for NYE.
We were seated promptly, but unfortunately it took about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. That more or less set the tone for the night. Service wasn't bad, just slow & a bit disconnected, & at times it became noticeable enough to be distracting.
That said, the food was excellent-no complaints there. Everything we ordered was well prepared & flavorful. Add to that the fact that we went on a Wednesday when all bottles of wine were half off, & it definitely softened the blow & made the experience more enjoyable.
Overall, it's a cool spot with good food & a great wine deal. While the service could use some tightening up, I'd absolutely come back-at the very least for drinks.

Pub Saint?Pierre is an absolute gem in the Old Port.
I had the joue de boeuf & the beef tartare, & both were outstanding, rich, perfectly prepared, & full of flavor. The food was genuinely delicious.
The ambience is lively yet cozy, making it a great spot whether you're out for dinner or drinks, & the cocktails were amazing, creative & well balanced.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, great drinks, & a fantastic atmosphere in Old Montréal.
Actually pretty decent. Went with a group bc my friend wanted to go to a bar & not a club was around 130 am drinks were good & the food was fine. Def worth it if ur with ur freinds & you just wanna chat & do want to go across the street

I may not be French but food is universal. Reservations were easy to book & we were seated quickly went we arrived. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu & specificals which made ordering easy. Food was delicious, & drinks were cold!
Theres no outdoor seating, but there's one family style table which was fun to sit at!
Normally I take photos for my reviews but I was too busy enjoying the food! 10/10 will be coming back here again.

2025: my seasonal drink was too sweet but we'll presented, really liked the Fujita & Miyagi playlist, nice atmosphere, service was better than last time.
2018: Delicious food. Creative drinks. Very inattentive service. Would definitely come back though.
Delicious food & drinks. Very tight inside, slightly odd layout of tables (at least when we were there). My partner would have to get up to let the people at the table behind us get by.
It was late, we wanted a pub to eat & drink. We got there & we could already tell we wanted in. The atmosphere right away is pleasant & vivacious with staff milling about helping customers in a pleasant way. There weren't any seats available when we got there but after a few minutes gave us a reserved table that likely punked out on them. Great beer selection, some microbrewery choices. It was late so our selection of food was with classic pub fare, which we were more than happy with.
Très bel endroit dans le Vieux-Montréal avec une bonne ambiance! C'est un excellent pub pour prendre une bière & manger une bonne bouffe! Il y a beaucoup de choix de drinks au menu & ils sont tous excellents! Le fish n chips que j'ai mangé était très bon! Le personnel est sympathique. Cependant, nous avons dû attentre un long moment avant de recevoir nos repas & nos drinks!
