First time in Canada ! So I decided I needed to try poutine this place has good happy hour so I got one beer which was cheap. & then I tried a classic poutine, & a spicy poutine . I don't have a reference to compare it to since it's my first time eating it but WOW DELICIOUS.
Great food & various optipns of comfort food but the staff is a bit off - not so friendly, doesn't accommodate well in the customer's language of preference (Speaks only French, hardly English most of time each time I visit & being served) & takes awhile to get back to us or forgets about us. The place can use a little bit of upgrade & cleanliness.

Une belle terrasse à l'extérieur qui permet de relaxer & regarder les passants! Une sélection de drinks, confort food. La sangria blanche & rouge étaient bonnes.
Mc Carold is a staple in the neighborhood. A lot of different choice for the drinks (if you like beer, you're served !) & a lot of conforting pub food. For a date or in group, pick your choice !
I went & sat on the patio. I got a hamburger & a White Velvet - one of the beer cocktails. The hamburger was good, but nothing special. I really liked the white velvet though. Delicious if you just like to drink a little beer. Nice finishing the pint with the sweetness of the cidre.
L'ambiance est chaleureuse & authentique, idéale pour se détendre après les cours ! Le personnel est accueillant & toujours de bonne humeur. Je recommande vivement ce pub à tous ceux qui cherchent un endroit convivial :)
