Great service last night from both waiters on the side terrace (.... the usual grouchy waiter in that section was not there - score!). SUPER patient dudes & really nice with our group of middle age anglo peeps ;)

We got some intel on the chicken tacos from one of the waiters & two of us changed our orders & were happy with our new discovery. The chicken was a bit dry but it was fresh & the spicing was totally on point.

If you don't feel for tacos, the Chix or straight up regular poutine NEVER disappoints & the burgers seem to be a fave amongst my favorite people.

When we come to Montreal for a visit, we make sure to come visit McCarold's. We have not been disappointed yet. We got here a bit early so it was still a small indoor crowd. I had the chicken pot pie & it was delicious. I wanted to take a picture of it, but oops all gone lol. This Pub is like a warm hug after a day of walking & sightseeing. Staff are friendly & food is good - a good portion size as well. Cheers to you, McCarold's - a bientôt! ❤?👍🏻

Food was mid. Beer is nice & cold. I assume most people just come here for beer, not so much the food. (We were 3 people with different meals, same outcome).
Waiter did a disappearing act after taking our drink order. Service is friendly but not very attentive.

Superbe Pub McCarold ! Il propose toujours une belle carte de bières variées & la nourriture n'est vraiment pas en reste. L'ambiance y est toujours aussi chaleureuse & le service absolument super. Une valeur sûre vivement recommandée !

Endroit très l'fun. La nourriture est bonne. La flèche du courage se finit bien avec quelques shots de baileys. Si vous avez la chance d'être servi par Jade, c'est certain que vous aurez une belle soirée. Je ne recommande pas la sauce au poivre par contre.

Petit bémol côté cuisine : la sauce au poivre n'était vraiment pas très bonne, tout le monde à ma table y a goûté, personne ne l'a aimée. 🥲

this is one of the best places i have ever been. really great food, good portion sizes, which is super tasty. the drinks are just top notch. the service is just impeccable. really loved the place.
