Superb, imaginative cocktails were what the night called for, & Projet Pilote delivered. I discovered this bar on a trip to Montreal two years ago & it was top of my list of things to do on my return visit last night. We had an excellent time here; this was our neighborhood bar on our visit to Montreal. The service was impeccable & the bartenders fast friends. Such a friendly & fun vibe, made us feel like we could be exactly ourselves. The staff takes such good care with the cocktails, & they were absolutely stunning. Can't say enough good things!View more

Very pretty micro brewery & distillery with a nice atmosphere to meet friends & have a bite. The service is amazing & we loved to sit at the bar & chat with the chefs & bartenders. The cocktails are really really amazing! The beer is a little to wild for my taste. I like the food, small portions, but high quality. Pub trouvé par hasard sur notre chemin. On est rentré par curiosité en voyant la déco très stylée. Pour notre dernière soirée à Montréal, on a kiffé. Ambiance, déco, bières & cocktail, le combo parfait. & surtout un service avec un personnel joyeux, plein d'humour, accueillant, souriant... & déguisé pour Halloween. Une fin de séjour parfaite dans ce bar qu'on aurait bien aimé connaître plus tôt.View more

As Americans from Vermont we have always found the Montrealais warm & welcoming. We share elements of a common culture & are treated like cousins in Montreal. Le Project Pilote is no exception. We were welcomed warmly, entertained by the spirits manager & the bar tender, & enjoying excellent beer & cocktails. They even claimed to understand my poor French, kind of them! The ambiance is of a friendly, local pub but don't be fooled. The bartending is top notch & the spirits manager will give you a tutorial on all things related to liquor quality, provenance, & the industry in general. These folks are experts at what they do. Definitely, a must go I'd you are in Mont Royal.View more

The cocktails are tasty, but the place emptied out quickly. By 9 o'clock on a weekday, the bar was nearly deserted. Maybe it's a Montreal thing, but we were expecting the vibe to last until at least 11:00View more

Not sure if Montreal has a huge happy hour scene, but the fact that you can get $5 pints on tap here is a steal in today's economy. Project Pilote is a fabulous green bar that functions as a mini brewery/distillery that also serves food during the kitchen's open hours. We had a variety of drinks to choose from & the staff there were very accommodating & helpful in picking out the best drafts. We ended up staying for an hour just relaxing after battling for fries next door, & I'd definitely go back again.View more

The food here was amazing! Would definitely recommend the burger!! Our server/bartender was amazing (sad we didn't get his name) he spoke 3 languages & was very attentive & knowledgeable, as it got busy he went to work more behind the bar & we had a waitress take over who also did a great job. Thank you for the great food & service - I will be recommending to friends & family that visit Montreal.View more

Belle grande distillerie-bar au coeur du plateau! Drink très intrigants, menu concis, efficace & délicieux, beau design des lieux ... un tantinet brouillant, mais bon, on survit!
