Review Summary

Première Moisson is widely celebrated for its extensive selection of high-quality breads, buttery pastries, and flavorful desserts, often described as a must-visit destination for those seeking fresh, artisanal treats. Many patrons appreciate the bright, inviting atmosphere that makes the space ideal for both social gatherings and working, though some note that seating areas could be better maintained and that power outlets are limited. While the majority of reviews praise the friendly and attentive service, inconsistent experiences with specific staff members and concerns regarding pricing and a perceived shift toward industrial production have been mentioned. Ultimately, the consensus highlights a reliable destination for coffee and baked goods, though experiences regarding service efficiency and overall value can vary.

They make freshly baked bread but what I loved the most about the Premier Moisson Marché Jean-Talon location is the space & pastries. I came here alone once & with friends, & I would say it's a nice study area because of how much lighting there are. There are not many plugs so keep in mind on where you are sitting.

It's great to hangout & catch-up with friends. I love their desserts because it's simple yet flavourful. I'd recommend the Cream Eclair with tea/coffee!

What I ate: Latte glacé & Raspberry Pischachio cake (close to $14 CAD), Hibiscus Mango sparkling Tea & Cream Eclair (close to $12 CAD).

If you're not a regular you might not know where the'line' to get served is. Very awkward. Smells of divine bread . Great choice of breads, pastries, cakes, pies, croissants, etc. Coffee is ok but expected better in an Italian neighborhood. Friendly staff. Outside & inside seating. Parking (free if lucky, & $ in adjacent streets to the market)

Very good food, coffee tasted like it was made in the dishwasher. Hope they find the motivation to make decent coffee! Also, the employees don't like when customers have accents, a shame considering Montreal is the second most diverse city in the world.

Found in the Jean Telon Market, I stumbled into this place looking to buy a coffee & lucky enough I was able to get one of the best latte's I've ever had! Plus they sold such good pastries & breads that you shouldn't come hungry here because you'll buy everything! Staff was great & helpful & can't wait to come back

I love the almond croissant there! It's also very cute in the Jean-Talon Market. Irresistible Aromas: As you step inside, the delightful scent of freshly baked goods envelops you. It's like a warm hug for your senses. Bread & Beyond: Their bread selection is outstanding-crusty baguettes, artisan loaves, & more. But it doesn't stop there. Pastries, both sweet & savory, beckon with their flaky layers & rich fillings. Café Comfort: Adjacent to the market, Premiere Moisson offers a cozy café space. Grab a coffee, settle in, & watch the world go by. Almond Croissants: Don't miss their almond croissants-they're a breakfast delight. Buttery, nutty, & perfectly indulgent.

Amazing french bakery. They have a wide variety of fresh bread, french desserts, cakes. I loved all their pastries / baked goods especially their custard tarts. The staff is very friendly & helpful in suggesting new things to try in their bakery. There is also a seating area in the store to eat your desserts & drink coffee! Highly recommend.
