Première Moisson in Côte-des-Neiges feels like one of those places where the smell of freshly baked bread does half the talking before you even reach the counter 🥐

What I really enjoy is the French-inspired approach to the food - buttery croissants, beautiful pastries, crusty breads, sandwiches, & coffee that make an ordinary morning feel a little more special. It has that unmistakable French bakery influence, but with a distinctly Québec character.

I can understand why so many customers praise the fresh bread, croissants, pastries, & variety. The selection makes it hard to leave with just one thing! My favorite part is that you can stop in for something simple like a coffee & pastry or turn it into a proper little breakfast or lunch.

There's something comforting about Première Moisson: a little piece of French bakery culture tucked into Côte-des-Neiges, with the warmth & character of Montréal 🇫🇷

Rude lady at the cash desk. This is the second time i came here & have a feeling this establishment does not like English speaking customers. The lady was very rude to me, apparently i did not follow their nonsence line up system. There was no customer at the cash desk & since I wanted only coffee, i went directly there. Apparently thats a huge no-no here. This is the last time I came here. Not giving this place my money again. Too bad.

The food & coffee here were excellent & the sandwiches were fresh & high quality, & we really enjoyed them. Unfortunately, the customer service completely ruined the experience.

The older lady who served us, Patricia (according to the receipt), was extremely rude & unpleasant throughout the interaction.
While we noticed her treating other customers warmly & respectfully, her attitude toward me & my girlfriend felt cold, dismissive, & openly unfriendly. It honestly felt targeted.

It's disappointing because the food was genuinely great, but the service we received was unacceptable & left a very negative impression. I would not expect customers to be treated this way, & I suspect others may have had similar experiences with her as well.

Première Moisson is a good place is you are not vegan. Unfortunately all their vegetarian options are full of cheese. They didn't have decaffeinated coffee either. I ordered herbal tea only.

Very lovely crew, & the inside is welcoming to enjoy your coffee or food options & relax, change of pass. Do watch out for overlay dry pastries & cakes but I've had no problems asking for an exchange.

If you're looking for a perfect pairing to start your day, this combination of espresso & almond croissant is a dream come true. The espresso is rich, bold, & beautifully balanced, offering that satisfying kick of energy with its velvety crema & robust aroma. The almond croissant, on the other hand, is pure indulgence. Flaky, buttery layers on the outside, with a heavenly almond filling that is just the right amount of sweet. The toasted almond slices on top add a delightful crunch that complements the soft, rich interior. Pretty place to enjoy coffee & sweets. They have a variety of foods & drink menu. The staff is nice too.
