The Bread! Coffee! Cakes! Strawberry 🍓 desserts ! & everything you buy in that Bakery is Wonderful. I visit Montreal twice a year & I always visit this Bakery is A plus
Visited the Premiére Moisson bakery 🧁 today & it was a bit busy. We purchased Gâteau Aux Carottes, Jardiniére & Bleuets Mélilot & Camerises Cake 🎂. Also purchased small cup sized desserts 🧁. I loved the atmosphere of this bakery store 🏬 In order to buy the items, you must get the coupon first from the machine, wait for the staff to call the number & then you can let them know what to buy & in which box size you need. Service was impressive & fast. We will definitely come back later to buy pastries 🍰 & other bakery products. Merci Beaucoup.
Visited this bakery on Sunday & it was quite busy, but it's easy to see why! All the breads & pastries looked incredibly fresh. We bought the pastry shown in the photo, & it was absolutely delicious. On top of the chocolate coating on the outside, it was filled with rich chocolate in the middle, which made it amazingly tasty. Highly recommend checking them out!

I had a very disappointing experience at this bakery today. The staff were extremely slow, unmotivated, & seemed uninterested in helping customers.
I stood next to the cashier for about 10 minutes. They clearly saw me waiting to place an order, but no one told me that I needed to take a number first. There was no guidance or customer service at all.
I ended up leaving without ordering, & I will not be coming back. This place is definitely not customer-orient.
Boulangerie Première Moisson at Marché Atwater is a gourmet stop that blends artisanal craftsmanship with the vibrant atmosphere of one of Montreal's most beloved markets. From the moment you approach the counter, the sight & aroma of fresh-baked breads, buttery pastries, & decadent desserts is irresistible. The display itself is a visual treat - golden baguettes stacked neatly, rustic loaves dusted with flour, delicate croissants with perfectly flaky layers, & colorful tarts & cakes that look as good as they taste.
The quality here is consistently outstanding. Breads have a beautiful crust & tender crumb, pastries are rich & flavorful without being overly sweet, & savory options - from sandwiches to quiches - are prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you're grabbing a quick snack or assembling a picnic with market finds, it's easy to put together something memorable.
Service is friendly & efficient, even during busy hours, & the staff knows the products well, often offering thoughtful suggestions. While prices reflect the artisanal quality, the freshness & flavor make it well worth it.
Première Moisson at Marché Atwater isn't just a bakery - it's an essential stop for anyone who appreciates fine baked goods. For photographers, the colors, textures, & natural light of the market create the perfect backdrop to capture the artistry in every loaf & pastry.
This bakery is in several locations around Montreal. The breads are so good & so many to choose from. It is far more then a bakery a

Breakfast & lunch. Prices are good & it's a great alternative to restaurants & authentic. Always fun & look forward to going especially in the market location
