Across the reviews, Première Moisson is described as a consistently fresh and inviting bakery-cafe with a wide assortment of breads, viennoiseries, pastries, ready made meals, and a deli style display, offering both breakfast and casual meals in bright, comfortable spaces, including Laval and Montreal locations. The smell of freshly baked bread, the quality of sourdough and croissants, and the attractive presentation are common positives, with online ordering and pickup praised for convenience. Some praise the friendly, accommodating service, while others note inconsistent experiences with staff, long waits, and occasional gaps in service, including misdelivered orders or table cleanliness issues. A few critiques mention expensive desserts relative to portion size and the occasional stale or dry bread, though many still value the bakery for quality and variety. Overall, Première Moisson is viewed as a reliable destination for bread, pastries, and catering, recommended for a meet up, a quick bite, or a shopping and snack stop, with strong emphasis on high quality products and a welcoming atmosphere despite occasional service hiccups.

Nice place & good food but, the lady behind the counter included one napkin although my order was two coffees & two croissants, & she didn't include any sugar packets not asked me if I wanted sugar. I had to go back to the cash register & wait to ask for what is missing. PS: avoid the almond croissant at all cost; it is anything but an almond croissant. The chocolatine is delicious.
