I am a regular customer at Première Moisson, & I was very disappointed by what I witnessed this morning while ordering pastries.
I saw an employee serving a customer drop a croissant on the floor. Instead of throwing it in the garbage, he picked it up & placed it back on the rack with the other croissants. I then asked the employee serving me who the manager was, & she told me it was him.
I approached him directly & asked why he did not throw the croissant away. He laughed & only replied,'Yes, I will put it now,' without really addressing the issue.
This is not the level of hygiene or professionalism customers expect when coming to Première Moisson. As a loyal customer, I found this very concerning & disappointing.

Première Moisson in Laval was a delightful discovery. The bakery itself is spacious, with plenty of tables to accommodate guests comfortably, making it an inviting spot for breakfast or a casual bite.
The selection is impressive, from classic baguettes to more elaborate organic levain breads, as well as a tempting variety of viennoiseries & pastries. Their display of prepared deli-style foods is equally appealing, with everything looking fresh & appetizing.
We opted for a latte, which was perfectly crafted with just the right amount of foam & served in a proper mug, a small detail that makes the experience more enjoyable. For breakfast, we had butter croissants, a chocolatine (chocolate croissant), & pain aux raisins (also called Swiss bread in some places). Each item was fresh, flavorful, & not overly sweet, which we appreciated.
The atmosphere is bright & welcoming, & the staff were friendly, attentive, & genuinely warm, adding to the overall experience.
Whether you're stopping in for coffee & a croissant or picking up bread to take home, Première Moisson offers quality, variety, & a pleasant environment. A great spot worth revisiting.

Je suis passé deux fois à la Première Moisson récemment, histoire de donner une seconde chance. Globalement, les pâtisseries comme les croissants ou les pains au chocolat sont corrects, sans être exceptionnels. En revanche, grosse déception du côté du pain : il est dur, sec, & donne vraiment l'impression d'être du pain de la veille. Comme c'était pareil lors des deux visites, je crois que ce n'est pas juste un coup de malchance. Dommage, car on s'attend à mieux d'une boulangerie de ce type.

Nice place & good food but, the lady behind the counter included one napkin although my order was two coffees & two croissants, & she didn't include any sugar packets not asked me if I wanted sugar. I had to go back to the cash register & wait to ask for what is missing. PS: avoid the almond croissant at all cost; it is anything but an almond croissant. The chocolatine is delicious.

Il y a une grande différence entre Première Moisson Laval & celui de Saint Laurent. celui à Laval les croissants ne sont pas bonnes, trop sucrée. les cafés aussi n'étaient pas bons Service très long. Je n'ai pas aimé. Par contre la première Moisson de saint Laurent vraiment au top de la bonne bouffe : croissants, chocolatines, muffins, les minis sandwichs, les cafés...... même l'ambiance & le service, personnels très accueillants & l'écoute du client.

Staff were incredibly friendly & patient. Got to try a sample of their bread with duck pate & it was phenomenal. Ordered a sandwich & two croissants, both of which were super rich & flavourful. I'm kinda sad I don't live here so I can come back more often.

Nice bakery & coffee shop. One of my favorite place in laval. They have all kind of bread, croissant, cackles, sandwiches, salads & more. Everything is great & the service is good too. Thank you
