Première Moisson is truly a wonderful place! As soon as you walk in, the smell of freshly baked bread is irresistible. They have a wide variety of breads, all high quality - the sourdough is my favorite. The pastry counter is filled with cakes, tarts, & mini desserts that look as good as they taste. Everything is fresh & beautifully prepared. They also offer ready-made meals, sauces, salads, & even a selection of chocolates, making it feel like a gourmet market.
The space is large, bright, & well-organized, with neatly packaged products. It's a perfect spot both for shopping & for taking a small break. Everything I've tried has been excellent - you can really feel the quality in every product. I definitely recommend it; this is a must-visit in Montreal!
Première Moisson in Laval was a delightful discovery. The bakery itself is spacious, with plenty of tables to accommodate guests comfortably, making it an inviting spot for breakfast or a casual bite.
The selection is impressive, from classic baguettes to more elaborate organic levain breads, as well as a tempting variety of viennoiseries & pastries. Their display of prepared deli-style foods is equally appealing, with everything looking fresh & appetizing.
We opted for a latte, which was perfectly crafted with just the right amount of foam & served in a proper mug, a small detail that makes the experience more enjoyable. For breakfast, we had butter croissants, a chocolatine (chocolate croissant), & pain aux raisins (also called Swiss bread in some places). Each item was fresh, flavorful, & not overly sweet, which we appreciated.
The atmosphere is bright & welcoming, & the staff were friendly, attentive, & genuinely warm, adding to the overall experience.
Whether you're stopping in for coffee & a croissant or picking up bread to take home, Première Moisson offers quality, variety, & a pleasant environment. A great spot worth revisiting.
Je suis passé deux fois à la Première Moisson récemment, histoire de donner une seconde chance. Globalement, les pâtisseries comme les croissants ou les pains au chocolat sont corrects, sans être exceptionnels. En revanche, grosse déception du côté du pain : il est dur, sec, & donne vraiment l'impression d'être du pain de la veille. Comme c'était pareil lors des deux visites, je crois que ce n'est pas juste un coup de malchance. Dommage, car on s'attend à mieux d'une boulangerie de ce type.
Tjs bien! La seule chose leur café n'est pas top! S'ils pouvaient changer la machine pour une vrai machine de café ça serait super! Leur café ne réveille personne. Soit il n'est pas assez fort ou ils n'en mentent pas assez. C'est une machine à bouton & pas la vrai machine qui fais des vrai expresso. Ça goûte l'eau. S'ils font ce changement alors c'est un 5 étoiles :)
Not much to discuss here. If you are looking for a high quality, great taste & beautiful presentation, Première Moisson is one of the gold standard in Montréal. I visited the one in Laval near Centropolis & their service was great, fast & welcoming. It is a bit pricey compared to some other pastry shops that will give you twice the size for the same price. However, quality products are more expensive so you need to decide what you want. Anyway, I highly recommend their cakes for small groups. If you want a huge cake, I recommend Italian & Greek Pastry shops.

Belle découverte, il y a une grande variété de choix a notre disposition, du pain jusqu'aux patisseries. Se faire servir fut rapide & le personnel dégage une belle énergie. Je reviendrai certainement pour les pains & les prix abordable!
