expecting decent service & quality, but this was honestly frustrating. I paid for desserts that were completely missing from the bags when I got home, & the bread I did receive was so hard it felt like it had been sitting out for days. For a bakery that charges premium prices & markets itself on freshness, this was really disappointing.

😵?💫🍰J'ai acheté une part de gâteau & malheureusement j'ai été très déçu. Le goût donnait l'impression d'un gâteau ancien & sec, sans fraîcheur. Honnêtement, on trouve parfois mieux au supermarché, surtout pour ce prix. L'expérience a été décevante & j'aurais aimé demander un remboursement, mais je n'ai pas osé. Par contre, la personne au comptoir des gâteaux était très gentille & accueillante.

I bought a slice of cake 🍰& unfortunately I was very disappointed. It tasted old 😵?💫& dry, with no freshness at all. Honestly, you can sometimes find better cake at the supermarket, especially for that price. The experience was disappointing, & I wish I had asked for a refund, but I felt too shy to do so. However, the person at the cake counter was very friendly & welcoming.

Jardiniere had sour fruits & was nothing spectacular, lemon meringue was way too sweet. It feels like the quality of their desserts has gone down.

No complaints of the staff.

Je suis un client du PM depuis des années mais c'est temps-ci, je remarque une baisse de qualité. Voici une'chocolatine' je pense qu'il y avait l'équivalent de 3 pippites de chocolat…. Déçu. surtout a ce prix

May 2025- Première Moisson- Marché de l'Ouest.

At the'Marché de l'Ouest, in the West Island of Montreal, there are two bakeries. One is''Boulangerie du Marché de l'Ouest'' & the second is refered on line as'Boulangerie du Marché de l'ouest- Première Moisson'- I know - a bit confusing, Indeed.
The first one,' Boulangerie du Marché de l'Ouest' , the shop closest to the main entrance is excellent. Unfortunately, they have no web site. Fortunately, the pie was very good. Good point for this bakery.
This review is about the second one:'Boulangerie du Marché de l'Ouest- Première Moisson' - They are accessible online or by phone. The problem is that you order a pie for 8 (eight) persons- At pick-up, you get a pie for 4 (four) persons at the price of a pie for 6 (six) persons. Do the math & see who wins: neither the customer nor the 8 guests waiting for this pie. However, the pie was really tasty.
