Came with a large group & ordered several medium-rare steaks, only for them to arrive completely overcooked & charred. The waiter never checked on us, so we couldn't even get it fixed. For the price, I'd expect basic competence. Wouldn't recommend.

J'ai eu l'immense plaisir d'être servi par un grand boxeur, Vittorio Salvatore, lorsque je suis allé manger au Portofino de Laval avec des amis avant un match du Rocket de Laval. L'expérience a été exceptionnelle ! Ce serveur, dont le passé de boxeur est impressionnant, a offert un service exemplaire & d'une grande courtoisie. Nous avons été servis comme des rois, avec une attention hors pair. Il a même pris le temps avec nous pour partager quelques anecdotes de son parcours de boxeur, tout en continuant à servir les autres clients avec un professionnalisme admirable. À un moment donné, il a échangé avec un ami & fan de l'époque, ce qui a ajouté une touche encore plus mémorable à notre soirée. Je recommande chaleureusement ce restaurant Italien pour son accueil unique sa nourriture italienne & pour l'expérience incroyable que nous avons vécue. Merci à toute l'équipe du Portofino de Laval pour cette soirée inoubliable, & bien sûr à Vittorio pour sa générosité & son charisme à l'Italienne! Wow 🥊🇮🇹🍝

Disappointing experience to say the least. While the service was good, the food left a lot to be desired. The lunch meal came with an appetizer & dessert, which was a nice. However, the tortellini rosée I ordered was truly underwhelming; the sauce tasted overly acidic, without the creamy balance you'd expect in a proper rosée sauce. It was honestly one of the worst I've had. The minestrone soup, however, was enjoyable, & dessert was passable, though nothing to write home about. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for quality Italian cuisine.

Very pleasantly surprised. Situated in a mall parking lot the atmosphere was nice & the food was very good as was the attentive service. There was a luncheon menu as well as a full menu. We were told that the lunch menu was half portions but came with soup or salad & dessert. I could not have eaten larger portions. Highly recommend if you are in the Laval area.

Je prends le temps de féliciter tout le personnel ainsi que le gérant de ce restaurant. Hier midi j'ai pu déguster le brunch du Portovino Laval pour une réservation de plus de 40 personnes & tout était impeccable. Le restaurant était comble. La nourriture était fraîche, le service incroyable malgré toutes les demandes & le lieu était propre jusqu'aux toilettes. Le chef a été jusqu'à accommoder pour une portion de cannelloni de plus. Je recommande ce lieu en famille ou entre amis avec plaisir. Encore merci & à bientôt certainement.

A friend brought me to Portovino for my birthday,the brunch everything was delicious,especially the crepes++++, The staff so friendly & they work together,nice to see. I will definitely return ,& recommend the experience..

Went for the buffet Brunch on Sunday (55$/person; includes tea/coffee). Service is A+ by all the staff, be it at the table or the food sections. Food was fresh & they replenish fast so there is never a lack of. While the food was not mind blowing, it is above average. No waiting line even at noon. Menu online is true to reality. Would recommend to try it out, if only for the amazing service!

J'ai réservé dimanche 30 juin pour un groupe de 47 personnes pour un anniversaire de 60 ans pour des jumeaux!!! Laura qui m'a expliquée comment ça fonctionnait était très professionnelle & très flexible pour tout! Le service le soir de la fête était excellent! Nos serveurs Lucas & Niko ainsi que le busboy Ryan, ont vraiment assuré!!! Ils ont servi tout le monde presque en même temps malgré un menu à la carte. Wow! Les plats été bien présentés oet la nourriture était bonne! Je recommande cet endroit pour tous vos parties privés. Vraiment très satisfaite de mon choix! Merci Portovino Laval!

Went there for the Sunday brunch with my wife & 2-year-old. The food was amazing I was afraid good food at buffets was a thing of the past. It isn't. Atmosphere was real nice very welcoming staff & the manager (owner?) was especially nice talking to us & rounding the whole buffet with us to help us avoid certain items (my wife has some food restrictions). Highly recommend the place.

What a festive atmosphere last night. We heard Happy Birthday songs at least 4 times!!! The hostesses at reception were welcoming & warm. Our waiter Nicholas was attentive, funny, efficient & friendly. The food was amazing. We ordered the brie with caramelized onions & steaks (cooked perfectly) & the mashed potatoes were heaven. Bring your own wine! Recommend. Thank you everyone st Portovino Laval!

Emplacement de choix à côté du métro. N'est pas recommandé pour l'intimité & le calme mais relativement bien géré. Un apportez votre vin sympa !!
