Excellent experience at Portovino Laval.
The ossobuco was incredibly rich & outstanding, the fish dish was perfectly prepared, & all other plates were equally impressive. Elegant presentation & fantastic service. Highly recommended.

J'ai vraiment aimé mon expérience au Portovino, j'ai été au brunch gastronomique du dimanche pour l'anniversaire de ma mère & tout le monde à adoré la nourriture & le service des serveurs était excellent. Je recommande cette place à 100%. 😊

I went to Portovino & the service was really good - the staff was attentive & friendly. The ambiance was nice & added to the experience.
However, the food was pretty average, nothing special or memorable. It wasn't bad, just very mid.
Overall, good service & vibe, but the food didn't impress.

J'ai été au Portovino pour un surprise de fête que j'ai planifié il y a longtemps.
Coté service, pas de problème, notre serveur dont je ne me souviens plus du nom était gentil, mais ça se voyait qu'il y avait beaucoup de gens & qu'il était pressé.
Par contre, la qualité de la nourriture était passable sans plus. Quand je regardais les autres plats sur la table, on dirait que les portions étaient fait pour des ogres tellement c'était gros. Il manquait beaucoup de saveurs dans des plats différents autant ceux avec de la viande ou fruits de mer.
Le restaurant était très bruyant, ce que je m'attendais à ce qui arrive.
Malheureusement, considérant la qualité de la nourriture versus le prix, je n'irai plus au Portovino. C'est dommage, car je me souviens que c'était bon dans le passé.

We had a wonderful lunch time at Portovino Laval celebrating my son's Confirmation with family. The restaurant was modern & bright. Food was excellent with a lot of choices for everyone. Appetizer plates were delicious & presented well. Main course plates were generous & served quickly.
Best part of the entire experience was the staff, from the host greeting us all & helping us get seated to the wait staff. Our server was amazing, Nicholas was always around to ensure that everything was perfect & made it feel like we were family.
Highly recommend this restaurant & if you have the chance ask for Nicholas & you won't regret it.
Congratulations to the entire Portovino Laval family on a job well done all around. We will be returning to see you again soon!

We went to Portovino's for brunch to celebrate my father's 80th Birthday. The service, food, music & ambiance were all amazing. The owners & the staff were very welcoming & friendly & went above & beyond to make my dad's Bday/New Year's day extra special. I am beyond grateful & would like to thank everyone working the brunch shift at PV'S on New Years Day for a very special & memorable experience.

Je prends le temps de féliciter tout le personnel ainsi que le gérant de ce restaurant. Hier midi j'ai pu déguster le brunch du Portovino Laval pour une réservation de plus de 40 personnes & tout était impeccable. Le restaurant était comble. La nourriture était fraîche, le service incroyable malgré toutes les demandes & le lieu était propre jusqu'aux toilettes. Le chef a été jusqu'à accommoder pour une portion de cannelloni de plus. Je recommande ce lieu en famille ou entre amis avec plaisir. Encore merci & à bientôt certainement.

A friend brought me to Portovino for my birthday,the brunch everything was delicious,especially the crepes++++, The staff so friendly & they work together,nice to see. I will definitely return ,& recommend the experience..

J'ai réservé dimanche 30 juin pour un groupe de 47 personnes pour un anniversaire de 60 ans pour des jumeaux!!! Laura qui m'a expliquée comment ça fonctionnait était très professionnelle & très flexible pour tout! Le service le soir de la fête était excellent! Nos serveurs Lucas & Niko ainsi que le busboy Ryan, ont vraiment assuré!!! Ils ont servi tout le monde presque en même temps malgré un menu à la carte. Wow! Les plats été bien présentés oet la nourriture était bonne! Je recommande cet endroit pour tous vos parties privés. Vraiment très satisfaite de mon choix! Merci Portovino Laval!

What a festive atmosphere last night. We heard Happy Birthday songs at least 4 times!!! The hostesses at reception were welcoming & warm. Our waiter Nicholas was attentive, funny, efficient & friendly. The food was amazing. We ordered the brie with caramelized onions & steaks (cooked perfectly) & the mashed potatoes were heaven. Bring your own wine! Recommend. Thank you everyone st Portovino Laval!

Ceci est notre 3e visite. Cette fois-ci le propriétaire a dépassé nos attentes afin d'offrir un service adapté pour les personnes ayant des restrictions alimentaires, comme nous, nous ne mangeons pas de porc. Il s'est assuré de faire le tour avec mes parents pour leur montrer ce qu'ils pouvaient manger. Mes parents veulent déjà savoir quand est-ce que je vais les ramener au Portovino!

I don't usually give 100% but when it deserves it, I will give it for sure. I really had a good time. The service was amazing. The food was amazing. I took the fried calamari & a regular Caesar salad. Both of my meals was fresh. I adored the calamari it was so good 10/10 service was so good. I wish I remembered his name but he was so nice to us. The atmosphere was really nice. Also one thing I really liked about this place is the toilet. Usually now we have the mixed toilet that im not really a fan of because of the lack of privacy , but even though it was mixed, it was Private enough there's 2 side one for ladies & the other for man with a separated mirror.. I loved it & wait time was supposed to be 30 minute five minute after we sit down they came & get us so honestly speaking I give a real 100% great experience congrats Portovino !!

Me suis gâté pour le nouvel an avec le terre & mer à $85 !!! Filet mignon & queue de homard. Filet demandé saignant, servi médium... Homard noyé dans les épices camouflant tout son goût, servi presque froid... Très décevant vu le prix & les promesses ! Je n'ai pas retourné mon assiette parce qu'on ne m'a jamais demandé si ça allait & que je voulais manger au même moment que ma famille. Service peu courtois, par un serveur sans vie, qui m'avoue être brûlé & à bout d'un long shift & d'une semaine éprouvante... Nourriture apportée à un rythme effréné afin de nous voir partir rapidement... Une autre machine à saucisse ! Ajoutez à ça une table à l'étage & une ribambelle d'enfants agités courent partout... Expérience très moyenne & très en deçà de ce que je connaissais de l'ancien Portovino. À moins d'y être obligé, il ne sera pas à mon agenda avant très très longtemps.

Very great experience at Portovino. It was exactly what I was looking for! A lot of options in the menu. Nice ambience, a VERY good service from Melissa, food was incredibly delicious!!! I went with the waitress recommandation & I have no regrets. What to say about desserts 😍😍 I can't wait to go back & try the Sunday brunch.
