It was a very cold morning in Montreal - the first day of our trip. That day, Montreal was even colder than Ontario.
I was supposed to go to the coffee shop next door, but it was full. I was insanely hungry & needed food right away. My friends were mad 🤭 - they had driven all the way from the hotel, fighting through traffic & snowy roads, getting lost in translation (since all the signs were in French), hoping to enjoy a nice brunch.
Honestly, I didn't care. The only thing on my mind was food. So, I took my chances & went in.
There's something magical about Montreal & Quebec: almost every restaurant tastes amazing, & their decor is always so thoughtful. The place was clean & free of dust. I wanted to order everything on the menu. I even asked my grumpy friends if they wanted anything, but they all declined 🥰
That was the memory of our first day. I think the poke I ordered tasted fresh & delicious. The portion was quite big, so I had to share. My combo was around $17 - pretty cheap, though I was too distracted at the time to notice.
I wanted to order boba but my friends all said,' No, you're impatient enough not to get food in the right restaurant. You have to try tea/coffee here. Not boba!'
Really good, fresh food. Staff is knowledgeable & friendly (& multilingual) but tend to underestimate my need for spice. Restaurant is basic. Not
Much atmosphere but clean & airy. This place has become a favourite.

This gem of a spot brings such a beautiful touch to our neighborhood-not only is the food incredible, but the entire experience is top-notch. The staff is always super friendly, professional, & welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about the service they provide & the quality of every bowl they serve.
The poke is fresh, flavorful, & customizable to your taste-hands down some of the best in the city. & as if that wasn't enough, Olivia's Chicken shares the same space & offers the most tender, perfectly seasoned chicken you'll ever try. 🐔🔥

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding two recent food orders I placed to my hotel through your service. While the food arrived on time & fresh, on both occasions the orders were delivered without any utensils, napkins, or basic essentials like a knife or fork.
This is unacceptable. As a guest in a hotel, I should not have to wander around the property searching for cutlery just to be able to eat my meal. Providing proper utensils & napkins is a basic part of food service, & the absence of these items reflects very poorly on both the restaurant & the delivery experience.
I kindly ask you to address this issue & ensure that such oversights do not happen in the future.

I'll admit, my second experience at Poke Monster wasn't the best, but I'm so glad I decided to give it another chance! This time, everything was flawless. The poke bowls were fresh, vibrant, & full of flavor. Every ingredient tasted like it was carefully chosen, & the balance of textures & flavors was perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly & attentive, making sure everything was just right. It's clear they've stepped up their game, & I'm thrilled to have a go-to spot for poke now. Highly recommended for anyone craving fresh & delicious food! 5/5 stars!
I've had many pokebowls in my day , but none quite like this one. The freshness of the fish reminded me of my time spent in Hokkaido, Japan. The staff served me with a warm welcome as though I had walked in my own family's restaurant. My experience here was on par with many well established restaurants. I will be coming back as often as my budget & time allow. 5 stars across the board. Thank you to the team of Poke monster NDG.
The owner Sammy is awesome!!! Super hospitable & went beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience! Super fresh food- spring rolls are super tasty. Can't wait to come back :)

I always come here during my school lunch to trt there amazing fried shrimps. Always fresh & hot. If you want sone good quality food make sure to go see them!
As a huge fan of Poke Monster, I usually rate their food a solid 10/10. Unfortunately, this location was a major disappointment. I ordered the Dynamite bowl, but the ingredients didn't seem fresh at all, & there was no sauce, which made the whole dish pretty bland. The chicken was okay at best, but nothing special. On the bright side, the employee was friendly, & the place was clean & well-maintained. However, the food just didn't live up to the standards I've come to expect from Poke Monster. I wouldn't go back to this location.
