We had the Sahlab, which is not commonly found in Montreal, so it was nice to see it on the menu. Taste-wise, it was a bit light, but no judgment here. It's located downtown, which is convenient. However, it felt a bit expensive for what it was, & the service was slow since there were many orders & only one person working.

I ordered a karak chai with saffron, & it was extremely disappointing. There was no noticeable saffron flavor at all, despite paying extra for it. The drink tasted mostly like water & lacked the rich, creamy consistency that a proper karak chai should have. To make matters worse, the ice had already melted by the time it was served, making it even more watered down.

What made this even more disappointing is that I've had this drink in the past & enjoyed it, which makes the difference even more noticeable. The consistency & quality seem to have dramatically diminished over time.

For almost $8, this was honestly the worst karak chai I've ever had. I expected much better quality for the price. I'm not sure if this was due to the staff member who prepared it today, but the experience was far below expectations. I won't be returning, & I definitely cannot recommend the karak chai with saffron.

Very nice place & friendly worker really enjoyed drinking tea in a small quiet & very clean place really enjoyed karak tea & cinnamon cake specially after long walking in downtown & bit cold & rainy day
