From Toronto, visiting Montreal, could not really find a good steeped tea situation aside from artificial chai lattes from cafè. Even Tim Hortons did not offer their signature steep tea.
Found this GEM! Got the karak chai, all natural ingredients & made perfect! Made my stay here meaningful. Also their baked in house cookies were fantastic, matcha chocolate chip & pistachio dark chocolate.
Will Definitely return when back in city God willing!
Plentea is such a cozy hidden gem! The owner is super friendly, the drinks are amazing, especially the Matcha & Chai Lattes & the location is perfect. I recently tried one of their cookies, & it was the perfect little treat. Warm vibes, delicious drinks, & great people. It's becoming a routine for me! 🤗 Highly recommend!
I was in Montreal for business & stumbled on Plentea & it was a great find.
The space has a fun, buzzy vibe & my tea latte was smooth, balanced & delicious…I got so addicted to the tea that I returned multiple times during the week! Cookies are also very tasty.
Staff were upbeat & on the ball, even during the rush. The friendly guy at the counter even knew my order by memory after a couple of days.
A great little spot if you're after quality tea & good energy.
Beautiful & cozy, & has impeccable tea! Wished the menu was available online so I attached it here. I always get their Rooibos latte because I'm basic like that, it's soo good tho!

Their business hours here are commendable, they're one of the last places open on Saint Catherine's each night!
Beyond the coffee & teas, they have a nice rotation of sweet treats in their display cases & I regularly get one when I'm in the area. The cookies are incredibly soft & I've never been disappointed by a single flavor combination that they've attempted. This might just be a secret bakeshop!
So happy to have found a tea spot that's actually open late!! It's nearly impossible to find a tea place that serves late (understandably so). What's even more surprising is that the tea is GREAT!! We went late night (~8:30pm) & wanted something caffeine free. The server (super sweet girl) explained the caffeine free options so we ended up getting a cold'rare phoenix' & a hot'rooibos latte'. Both drinks were absolutely amazing!! We can't wait to go back again & try more drinks especially the caffeinated ones!!
I recently discovered this chai place, & I have to say, the chai Karak is absolutely delicious! The flavors are rich, perfectly spiced, & comforting. However, there's a noticeable difference when the owner is the one making it - it just tastes better, somehow. The employees are great, but there's room for improvement in keeping the consistency of the drinks, especially since the owner's version is so spot-on.
On a side note, the bathroom could use some attention. It wasn't as clean as it should be, which is a bit of a letdown considering how much care goes into the drinks. With a little more consistency in the chai & upkeep in the space, this place would be near perfect!
Best chai latte in Montreal. Came here yesterday & the tall dark haired man made the best chai I've ever had. The last time I came it wasn't as flavourful. Great service, stand out drinks.
BEST CHAI IN MONTREAL NO QUESTION. Take it from a latte connoisseur myself! I keep going back to feed my craving since I've first had it. If you love chai's & lattes this is a place you MUST try in Montreal. Amazing vegan pastries as well!
