Plein Sud offers a warm Corsican and southern French dining experience with generous portions, attentive service, and an inviting, festive but relaxed atmosphere. The menu shines with tapas style bites, charcuterie boards, hearty veal with olives, seafood risotto, and a well curated wine and beer selection, often accompanied by charming Corsican songs that make the evening feel unique. Guests repeatedly note great value for money, friendly staff, and a sense of being welcome like at a home away from home, whether celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a casual night out in a cozy neighborhood setting.
Had such a great dinner at Le Plein Sud. We tried the bruschetta, tuna rillettes, veal with fried gnocchi & olives, & the seafood risotto. Everything was delicious, but the rillettes & risotto were the stand outs for us. The Corsican wine & Sospelou mocktail were both excellent! Service was great & the place felt really cozy & well decorated

This is a gem of a place, serving southern-coastal French food & Corsican-imported spirits. Menu is tightly packed with tapas, home-cured charcuterie boards (lonzo was top-notch), & a few mains. My only slight would be that they go easier on salting the steak, though one of my companion didn't believe that one can ever oversalt steak & was happy.
The atmosphere was as charming as the two gentlemen who ran the dining room with their southern French warmth. You can tell that the crowd is largely French, with families coming in to eat with their kids after 8pm. Would happily return with more carnivores & pescatorians.
Fantastic food & wonderful staff! Chef Catherine's special of the day was one of the best dishes any of us had ever tasted. I think it was called agnoloti or something like that. The charcuterie board was delicious & wonderfully presented. Our waiter Thomas was so friendly & shared great recommendations for Corsican cocktails & dessert. The vibe of the restaurant is nice but fun, not stuffy. Would make a trip back to Montreal to eat here again.
Wonderful friendly wait staff & the recommendations by the chef were perfect! Don't miss the authentic Corsican veal/gnocchi dish paired with Corsican wine. A truly unique experience.
A small Corsican restaurant with limited selection, cozy atmosphere. The home-style dishes were fresh & tasty, the veal with gnocchi, the scallops with homemade Corsican sausage & risotto, linguine pasta. The scallops had a pleasing balance of sweet & briny flavors with soft & delicate texture.
We loved the relaxed European-style, & every dish was interesting & delicious: the veal with gnocchi, the scallops with sausage & risotto, the pannacotta, & certainly the piadone (Corsican cheesecake)
Second time at Plein Sud & not disappointed. The wine selection is small but it's excellent. Food is very good & generous portion. We had the gnocchi with veal à la Corse, creamy risotto with scallop, Corsican sausage & veggies. & an amazing panacotta with red berry & basil coulis
