Had such a great dinner at Le Plein Sud. We tried the bruschetta, tuna rillettes, veal with fried gnocchi & olives, & the seafood risotto. Everything was delicious, but the rillettes & risotto were the stand outs for us. The Corsican wine & Sospelou mocktail were both excellent! Service was great & the place felt really cozy & well decorated
Wow wow wow ! Je suis venu dîner avec des amies, c'est un restaurant excellent, le service était excellent & la cuisine généreuse! Un vrai petit bout de Corse à Montréal ce qui est assez unique pour la ville ! Mention spécial au serveur Thomas qui est toujours souriant & très gentil !
Ps 1 : je recommande les gnocchis fries en entrée c'est un délice
Ps 2 : ils ont un choix incroyable de digestif excellent il faut en goûter un à la fin de votre repas sauf le limoncello !

French Corsica restaurant with a limited selection of delicious meals !
The staff was friendly & you could tell they were making a lot of effort to make our evening welcoming !
The veal gnocchis were delicious & the portions were generous ! They have a wide selection of alcohol & food specialty from Corsica & Nice !
One small improvement that I would suggest is to change the table & chairs, the restaurant looks beautiful & the decor is very cosy but the table & chair kind of clashed with the vibe, maybe something a bit more personal ! But that's just a details, everything else was perfect !
Wonderful friendly wait staff & the recommendations by the chef were perfect! Don't miss the authentic Corsican veal/gnocchi dish paired with Corsican wine. A truly unique experience.
Un très bon restaurant dans l'ensemble, offrant une cuisine savoureuse avec des ingrédients qui semblent être de qualité. L'atmosphère est agréable & le service satisfaisant, bien que notre serveur aurait pu se montrer un peu plus chaleureux. Peut-être n'était-ce pas son jour, mais ce détail n'entache en rien la qualité & l'originalité des plats proposés, qui sont difficiles à trouver ici à Montréal. Mention spéciale pour la charcuterie & le fromage, qui sont excellents, ainsi que pour les gnocchis frits, un vrai coup de coeur !
From my friend (he had veal gnocchi): one of the best dining experiences I've had in years. Food & atmosphere were wow! From me: make a plan to come here soon & order the braised pork. You'll absolutely love it.
A small Corsican restaurant with limited selection, cozy atmosphere. The home-style dishes were fresh & tasty, the veal with gnocchi, the scallops with homemade Corsican sausage & risotto, linguine pasta. The scallops had a pleasing balance of sweet & briny flavors with soft & delicate texture.

We loved the relaxed European-style, & every dish was interesting & delicious: the veal with gnocchi, the scallops with sausage & risotto, the pannacotta, & certainly the piadone (Corsican cheesecake)
Repas excellents, plutôt copieux. Le veau corse avec les gnocchis, valeur sure, & on a meme la possibilité de deguster une Pietra, fameuse biere corse ambrée a la chataigne. Notre serveur a ete tres sympathique egalement. Une belle decouverte.
Second time at Plein Sud & not disappointed. The wine selection is small but it's excellent. Food is very good & generous portion. We had the gnocchi with veal à la Corse, creamy risotto with scallop, Corsican sausage & veggies. & an amazing panacotta with red berry & basil coulis
Amazing, Amazing, AMAZING. The food was heavenly, the service was impeccable & the overall experience was just lovely! 10/10, would absolutely recommend. P.S: I had the braised veal with gnocchi yesterday night & I woke up still thinking about it.

Nourriture délicieuse, nous avons pris le veau avec gnocchi & le tartare, un des meilleurs que j'ai goûté. Belle recommandation de vin pour accompagné les plats. Les desserts très gourmands pour une belle touche finale. Le décor du restaurent est très joli, deux petites tables dehors pour les soirées chaudes d'été. Le service était bien sympathique, je recommande & je vais y retourner.
