This is a beautiful venue with an upscale vibe & good food. However, you leave having the feeling that the number 1 thing this place wanted to do is milking as much money as possible from you. First of all they ask you for flat or sprinkling water. The flat option you get an Evian glass bottle, they say they don't have tap water which is quite surprising given even the fanciest restaurants in Montreal serve tap water. So there goes 30$ for water for our table of 5. Then the shrimps & calamari appetizer comes. It's s a small portion with give or take 15 pieces of calamari & 2 (yes Only Two) pieces of shrimps. Seriously? I can't but feel screwed over. I don't mind paying for an expensive meal but this is for me not decent behavior. The pizzas were good & large in portions but not particularly special.View more

This is a nice cozy restaurant in Laval. There is one intrance fron st martin street, & other one from the hotel you go to the first floor. It was fully crowded Saturday night, need reservation. The service was good, excellent food & nice atmosphere. Excellent pizza !! They bring a small cake with a candle for birthdays. I recommend it for sure.View more

I was staying at the times hotel & went out last night with my sister to sofia at 8h pm for dinner . The guy at the door with long hair was so rude & said they were fully booked for the whole night.. we went on the online booking & found a table for 9h pm available 👀 ! Then there was at less more than 5 police officers 👮♀️ walking around the restaurant it was very weird for a restaurant.the music is very loud & not enjoyable, other than that the food was good & our actual table server was nicer . I dont think i would come back .View more

The Diavolo pizza, rigatoni vodka rosée, kale salad, were all delicious. I would recommend all three. The rigatoni is homemade. Nice sauce. The pizza is made in a nice big pizza oven. Thin crust. Delicious toppings. You could see & smell them slicing prosciutto. Mouth watering. The kale salad has pecans & a beetroot dressing, with goat cheese. So friggen good.
We went on a Wednesday night in early October. Although we couldn’t make reservations online, they had space for us. The place was pleasantly busy. Beautifully decorated.
To park, you have to drive past the restaurant & go into the hotel parking lot behind.
The drinks were a good size & you can taste the alcohol.
The only thing is that it is very expensive. I had half a pizza, half a portion of pasta, half a salad & two gin tonics. With tax & tip it cost me 100$. That being said, I would still go back.View more

If you are looking for a great place to enjoy a good meal with drinks & awesome atmosphere in Laval, Pizzeria Sofia’s is it! We have had too many good experiences there to count. The staff is too kind & courteous. & the food is delicious. I highly recommend for a simple night out or a special celebration you will have a fabulous time!View more

My friends & I went to Sofia for my birthday.
Our waitress Alivia was beyond amazing
The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was well presented. The ambiance was also very pleasant. I had a great evening. If you go, you must have the lamb & calamari as your entrée. Delicious!

Food was really good. Get the gniocchi. It was to die for. The atmosphere was great. We felt kinda rushed at the end even though there was a lot of empty seats. Service was good. I recommend this location. Parking is a bit rough. People were parking at the bank next door.View more

Restaurant décevant. Première chose très repoussante, on entre par la cuisine, près du frigo & des tablettes. Trop bizarre!!! La nourriture semble bonne, mais le goût est moyen. Mon Quinoa n'était pas bien cuit & la pizza avait un goût ordinaire. Les toilettes sont mixtes. Le stationnent intérieur est pratique, mais attention, il est payant. Le restaurant ne valide pas votre ticket!!! Je ne retournerai pas.
