Review Summary

Pizzeria Sofia draws a broad mix of opinions, with many guests praising the pizza and pasta as consistently delicious and well presented, along with a warm, festive atmosphere and attentive service when crowds aren’t overwhelming. Frequent favorites include classics like Insalata Cesare and various seafood pastas, and gluten-free options have earned praise from some, though there are cautions about cross-contamination and guests with celiac disease. Prices are repeatedly noted as high, especially for drinks and wine, and water is often charged separately, which irritates several diners. Noise levels are a common complaint when the restaurant is busy, sometimes making conversation difficult, while service speed and attentiveness vary by night and staff, occasionally leading to disappointed experiences, particularly on busy weekends or with reservations mishandled. Overall, Pizzeria Sofia is seen as a stylish, wine-and-pizza destination ideal for date nights and group dinners, but potential visitors should expect higher prices, be prepared for a lively ambiance, and consider booking in advance.

First, & last time i go there. We had reservations that were at 8:00pm we sat down at 8:45pm, ordered 6 beers on tap 1 7up. We had 2 small plates of calamari, 3 pizzas & 6 salads with a total of 300$ dollars with tip & very slow service I was shocked with the price of a small plate of salad for 11$ for 6 people, which came out to 66$ for salad. Overall, besides the high pricing & poor service the pizza was good (they should of cut the pizza) & can't complain about the food.

I was so glad to hear that a pizza joint finally opened in the Quartier Dix30 Square, it was the only thing missing really. The restaurant has a very homey, rustic feel to it making it great for family dinners, or a casual date night. There were large round tables which would be perfect for groups or families. The booth was extremely comfortable & tables were nicely spread apart. I enjoyed being able to see the chefs make the pizza & use the big stone ovens. My boyfriend & I started off with the fried calamari (11$), it was nice & tender although could have been a bit crispier. It was served with a tasty spicy mayo & garnished with pickles. My boyfriend had the Americana Pizza (15$) & he really enjoyed it. The portion size was large, so we brought the left overs home. I ordered the seafood linguini (16$). The pasta was fresh & i enjoyed the wine sauce. There was a decent amount of seafood including mussels, clams & calamari. I would have liked more tomatoes though. I cannot comment on the wine because the restaurant does not yet have a liquor license. Service was excellent, constantly refilling our water as soon as the glass was empty. The menu was smaller then I expected, but the quality of food is good. There is also a kid friendly menu. This is a great place to stop for a quick bite between extensive shopping, or simply to have a relaxing meal. I will go back again.
