The restaurant had a cute cozy rustic vibe. The food was alright but not anything special. Had the vodka pasta & it was good but nothing out of the ordinary. My partner ordered the cacio e pepe gnocchi except they were out of the gnocchi & said we could get a different pasta which was fine & got the fettucine. However when they brought it out it wasn't the cacio Pepe sauce it was the Mac & cheese which we didn't order that was a bit odd & they didn't say anything . We also had the Cesar salad & the carpaccio the portions are a bit smaller & again it was good but nothing special. The service was okay we tried to get the server to come over quite a few times & she kept ignoring us. There is definitely much better Italian spots downtown with better service.
The restaurant is in a great location & I really like the interior - it's cozy & stylish. The food is good, especially the pasta, but unfortunately the service is consistently disappointing. Last time, the pizza was served cold, & it seems like they don't have enough staff to manage properly. Even during non-busy hours, the wait time is too long

Elle a su reprendre le service avec efficacité & courtoisie, ce qui a grandement amélioré mon passage. C'est exactement le type de service qu'on attend d'une professionnelle en restauration. Excellente & grosse pizza Parma. Entrée de carpaccio très bonne. Succulente assiette de saumon. Mais pas de pain apporté à la table ni rien à part une bouteille d'eau trop chaude & sans glace. Prix trop élevés, surtout pour les steaks à 75$ l'assiette !!

Nous avons commandé 2 pizza & arrivé bien à l'heure, les pizza m'attendaient à l'entrée du restaurant, elles étaient froides. Arrivé à l'appartement, une des 2 n'était pas la bonne. Je suis retourné au restaurant pour l'indiquer, sympathiquement on m'a proposé de la refaire, je suis reparti & ce n'était toujours pas la bonne.. pas très sérieux !
Attention niveau ambiance, c'est plus un bar de nuit qu'un restaurant, il y avait DJ avec musique à fond, compliqué de se faire entendre dans ces conditions
We went on a rainy Sunday & the restaurant wasn't too full. Waitress was very nice & food tasted great! We got the lamb chop appetizer, the mushroom pasta with burrata & the tiramisu. Just be water to arrive in advance as parking is nearly impossible to find!
Sérieusement la bouffe est excellente typiquement italien, absolument rien à dire, mais le service laisse à désirer serveuse en manque d'expérience, trop hésitante, c'était ma 1re fois je ne suis pas un habitué mais tout de même faire attention à ta nouvelle clientèle soyez attentif vous avez probablement un client potentiel longue durée malheureusement à cause de cela est la distance de chez moi je vais préconiser les petits restos italiens de mon quartier 1re & dernière fois de ma propre personne!!
I've lived in Montreal for six months & always wondered why this restaurant was empty whenever I passed by. So, I decided to give it a try, & my experience was mixed. The food was incredible in every way, but the service left much to be desired. The servers & hosts lacked charisma, empathy, & professionalism. Because of the poor service, I wouldn't go back to this place. I prefer to order by phone & enjoy the excellent quality of the dishes created by the chefs. Unfortunately, the restaurant suffers due to the inefficiency of the servers & hosts.
Great atmosphere, food was well presented & tasteful all the way through. The only missing piece was the service, our server wasn't on the same standard you would aspect for a place like this. There was a runner boy, young & very attentive & professional, I wish we had got his name, but he seemed to be holding the whole place together for the rest of the servers. By meritocracy he should be getting the tips & create table connections.
