Pizzeria Moretti offers a visually striking and trendy atmosphere that many guests find warm and inviting for social gatherings. The food, particularly the authentic Neapolitan style pizzas, pastas, and various appetizers, receives high praise for quality and flavor. However, experiences vary significantly regarding service and consistency, with reports of both exceptionally attentive staff and instances of disorganization, dismissive attitudes, or unprofessional behavior. While many diners enjoy the vibrant energy, the music volume is frequently noted as being too loud for comfortable conversation, and some visitors have raised concerns about high pricing, portion sizes, and cleanliness. Overall, the establishment is seen as a stylish spot with great culinary potential that can provide a wonderful experience for some, while leaving others dissatisfied due to service and environmental factors.
Imagine paying almost $40 for a bowl of pasta that tastes like they dumped an entire container of salt into it. I should've sent it back, but I didn't want to waste even more time waiting since the service was very slow, & the waitresses seemed more focused on their appearance than providing good service.
The crowd is trashy, the police always seem to be there, & the place feels more like a club that's all for show than an actual restaurant.
Trust the reviews. There are way better restaurants in this price range that are actually worth your money.
Food was mid, service was okay until we asked for the bill & had to wait over 30 minutes although all our plates were cleared. We had to remind our server twice, & still didn't receive it. Turned what should've been an hour ish night to 2.5hrs, with half of that time not even having food. Undercooked pasta & unflavoured/seasoned salmon.
Honestly been wanting to come here for years, & let me tell you how overhyped this place is or I assume it was just this location my pasta was extremely under cooked not to mention 35$ for pasta is insane. The quality didn't justify the price at all super disappointing & on top of that it was sooo hot in there(during at heatwave of 35 degrees) very uncomfortable not to mention for my birthday dinner super upsetting, will not be returning unfortunately even the waiter wasn't even that friendly. 70$ for two people & didn't even order any drinks or antipasto..

Between being absurdly loud & the service being mid… they well without scrupules charge you 40$ for bland vodka pasta, & boost all their prices on Uber Eats, by 5$ pre tax pre fees, bringing one plate of pasta to nearly 60$ after tax & service fees… 👏🏻 👏🏻
The food was excellent overall & the quality-price ratio was really impressive. The pizzas were definitely the highligh; authentic Neapolitan style with a thin, crusty, perfectly baked dough. Truly delicious.
The tartares were very good, & the pastas were excellent with rich & flavorful sauces, especially the mushroom & tomato ones that I tried. The octopus was honestly one of the best dishes of the night! incredibly tasty & perfectly cooked. The steak was just okay compared to the rest of the menu, which really stood out. Desserts were good, though not the main attraction.
Cocktails were decent, nothing extraordinary, but the cozy & lovely atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Very friendly staff! Definitely a place worth coming back to!
Came here because they had gluten free pasta & pizza dough & several great options for me as celiac. I let the server know as soon as I sat down that I am celiac & I reconfirmed what I could eat. I ordered the penne vodka with gluten free pasta, after eating several pieces realized that it didn't taste like gluten free, nor look like it. Ultimately, it was not gluten free. As someone with celiac it is really frustrating when restaurants do not take it seriously, it may not present as a serious allergy but should be taken to the same degree. Do not recommend for people with gluten intolerance, allergy, or celiac disease.
Super cool restaurant with great service, food & ambiance. I had the oysters, & pasta with homard. The place has a great vibe with a DJ playing...it becomes quite hard to have a conversation after 9 pm but I will go back for sure.
The restaurant had a cute cozy rustic vibe. The food was alright but not anything special. Had the vodka pasta & it was good but nothing out of the ordinary. My partner ordered the cacio e pepe gnocchi except they were out of the gnocchi & said we could get a different pasta which was fine & got the fettucine. However when they brought it out it wasn't the cacio Pepe sauce it was the Mac & cheese which we didn't order that was a bit odd & they didn't say anything . We also had the Cesar salad & the carpaccio the portions are a bit smaller & again it was good but nothing special. The service was okay we tried to get the server to come over quite a few times & she kept ignoring us. There is definitely much better Italian spots downtown with better service.
