With the opening of its first restaurant in 1981, La Pizzaiolle was the first restaurant to introduce Montreal to pizza baked in a wood burning oven where a small flame is always maintained evenly browning the tasty toppings. 35 years later, we rethink and evolve our concept. The location in Old Montreal is our laboratory. It offers new recipes, antipasti and Italian-inspired cocktails. C'est de loin la meilleure pizzeria sur l'île que j'ai essayer a date. Il y a une grande variété de pizzas fraîche & délicieuse & j'ai beaucoup aimé l'ambiance dans le restaurant. Je vous conseille fortement d'aller l'essayer.

Went there for lunch. Beautiful atmosphere. Just actually took a chance at this restaurant not knowing what to expect. Simple menu what I live about this place. Pizza pasta salads. Pizza was out should I just say is simply amazing. Thin crust, just the way pizza should be made, sauce is perfect & crust was outstanding. Cannot wait to come back again.
Great place. I was part of construction team , renovating the place, & adding basement, & a messanin. By then, +/-1996, it was a coffee shop, named as "La Toure Factor". Currently, 2024 May, it is an Italian Restaurant. The food is great, ambiance is great, & service is fantastic. Enjoy it.
Good pizzas & cozy atmosphere . excellent rapport of price, quality & service, loved the experience & would definitely revisit. Can be a nice spot for a casual outing & not for only a quick bite in lunch time. The pizza is served with generous portions & high quality ingredients & cooked in oven.
2nd visit to Montréal since 2022 & we hit this place two nights in a row. Food was done to perfection. That is, my panzarotto & my wife's pizza al fiore di latte.
I didn't know what to expect. I had 30 mins for my lunch break, chose the closest restaurant to me that looked decent. Ended up here. Thank god because it was maybe the best pizza of my life. The waitress was super hot too. Pretty I fell in love with the pizza & her. 10/10 would go again.
Visited La Pizzaiolle on a hot Saturday afternoon after working nearby. The air conditioning was a welcome relief :) (*they also have a beautiful terrace, but it was too hot to sit outside). The calzone I ordered exceeded my expectations-the dough had the perfect balance of softness & crispiness. Absolutely delicious! Will come back again!
I'll start by saying that both atmosphere & location are good. The service is fast, nothing particular to add. The beer is expensive & definitely not worth it. Tastes like a cheap one. The pizza is the worst part: it was like someone saw a picture of a pizza in a magazine & tried to make one without ever having eaten one. & of course it's overpriced.
I had a chance to visit this place & I was blown away! The food was AMAZING! I visited from Ottawa for a quick trip but definitely coming back just to eat again at this place. The place was so clean, food was so fresh, right portions & cost effective!
