With the opening of its first restaurant in 1981, La Pizzaiolle was the first restaurant to introduce Montreal to pizza baked in a wood burning oven where a small flame is always maintained evenly browning the tasty toppings. 35 years later, we rethink and evolve our concept. The location in Old Montreal is our laboratory. It offers new recipes, antipasti and Italian-inspired cocktails. Les 4 pizzas que notre groupe a mangées étaient succulentes. Pour ma part, la cinq fromages & pommes m'a agréablement surprise. Bien que les puristes pourraient crier au sacrilège, vous sortirez des sentiers battus. Pour ce qui est du dessert, le classique tiramisu était toujours aussi bon. Bon goût de café & peu sucré comme il se doit selon moi :-). J'ai aussi pu goûter au cheesecake qui était aussi très bon. Le service était tout à fait correct. Bien que je n'ai pas d'attente particulière, je n'ai pas senti de plaisir de servir que je recherche un peu tout de même. J'ai été chanceux pour le stationnement. J'imagine que ce n'est pas toujours facile de trouver un endroit proche.
Hands down, the best pizza I've ever had in Montreal.
This was my second time trying it-the first time, a friend brought it for takeout, & I instantly knew I had to visit the restaurant myself, even if it meant a 30-minute drive.
We ordered two pizzas: the Margherita & the Charcuterie, which were perfect for the three of us. We were hoping to try the tiramisu, but unfortunately, it wasn't available. Still, I have no doubt it would've been amazing too.
I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm craving pizza!
Our pizzas were delicious, & their prices were very reasonable. We sat outside, lovely ambiance. & there was enough room for me to freely walk around with my little toddler. Bonus that there is free parking for the resto.
Phenomenal place. Food was incredible. The vibe was great, the place smells awesome as well. I'm looking forward to coming back. I got the quatre fromages & pommes, a tiramisu & espresso. Absolute deliciousness.

Good afternoon! Pizza was perfect although I think I had too many'small' slices, burp. Service was excellent as well as the parking. Nice, quiet place to spend your evening. Thanks for the welcome & have a nice evening!
