Wow! Sooo good!
The dough has a nice texture & crunch. The pizza had a great undercarriage. The toppings were very tasty.
Tried 2 slices, walked around Mile End & then had to go back to order a whole SHGP pizza to take back home. Definitely a place to try!View more
Nice place for a quick slice of thin crust pizza. The sauce is what makes it worth the trip. It's pretty darn good.View more
After 3 orders, I cannot recommend the square pizzas. Twice now I've received pizzas where the bottom crust was dense & flat with no air volume. The rim had minimal crispness & the underside was all soft with no browning.
I know it's not supposed to to be like this because the first one I've received was incredible & didn't have these issues. I've never had this happen ordering a square vodka pizza elsewhere either.
While I can't say what causes this, I do know that given the premium price they shouldn't be serving this.
It's a shame too because the toppings are great, although I think just a few more pepperoni slices would be a tiny change that improves the pizza a lot.View more
The New York slice was not the best I've had but it's a somewhat cheap slice to just try in the area if you are wanting some pizza. Maybe the Sicilian slice would be a better choiceView more
The few times I've passed by this place it has always been reasonably busy, so I had some expectations based on the hype. My review is very subjective as I am not too much of a fan of this style of thin, crispy pizza. I favour a thicker, softer pizza personally. I went for the Vodka pep slice. The ingredients were good, tasty sauce but I felt like the cheese was too light for my liking & the overall crispy texture of the pizza just wasn't for me. Service was acceptable, they managed the high demand well. I like the interior set up including the sink to get the grease off your hands before you leave.View more
I really don't get what's so special about this place. The food is okay, but stingy on the toppings, very thin crust (I guess that's what people look for in a'NYC' style pizza), a bit pricey for smallish slices but it is an expensive neighborhood. The sauce was kinda nice. Really shows you the power of proper marketing.View more
Underwhelming paper thin pizza slices. Was disappointed.View more
Ordered the Pizza Toni by the slice & will be back for more!View more
Best pizza I ever had. Staff was super kind, made a mistake on my order when it was busy, & gave me a free slice. Recommend.View more
First they make my type of pizza , crunchy crispy thin slice pizza & well done , Bravo to the pizza maker. Too bad it's so far from my place & can't order regularly, It's an easy 5 star pizza diner unfortunately they messed up my first order giving me 2 all dressed & left out my spicey joney garlic pizza , I guess will try again in the near future.View more
Best slice I've had in Montreal so far, quality ingredients & cooked perfectly with a beautiful undercarriage (crust). This spot has a friendly & vibrant vibe, my go to pizza shop for a slice that reminds me of a New York style slice. Can't recommend enough!View more
Best slice in town. Pizza Toni understood the assignment: crispy, thin crust, simple but delicious toppings. Nothing fancy or over the top, just amazing food, & great vibes!View more
The store was closing, I wanted to try their famous pizza while in Montreal. They declined reheating the slice of pizza for me because they were closing, but they offered it for free too.View more
Visited this place for the first time absolutely amazing!!! they sell pizza by the slice & whole pizzas. Definitely worth the visit. Would recommend to anyone who's a pizza lover.View more
Stopped by just as I was walking by late at night. Although it was busy, I only ordered a peperoni slice service so was fast. Few spots to sit down & eat, tons of benches to sit & eat outside. Aesthetic decor & sweet house music tracks make for good vibes/atmosphere. Slice was pretty solid, especially loved the peperoni cups, though i honestly thought it coulda used a bit more cheese. I'm confident the pizza would of tasted even better if I ordered a whole fresh pie rather than slice though.View more
I came in to try Pizza Toni while visiting family in Montreal. It's a good classic thin & crispy pizza. Bonus points for playing 21 savage inside. Nice staff & they stick to classic options. I'd say the slice needed a little more sauce for me but other than that, it was good overall. 7.1 on the scale. Check out the videos below for the full review!View more
Best slice in the city! Pizza of the day every day, always good. Good people, good vibes. My go to spot for good NY style pizza.View more
Went for a slice at lunchtime, had to wait for pepperoni pizza as they didn't have any left but it was worth the wait!View more
The most amazing pizza in montreal! Our pizza took 10mins more than expected & they gave us a choice of either free sauce or a free slice for the wait!!! Seriously did not expect that, but they're super niceView more
One of the best pizzarias I've been to. They have unique speciality slices every day, like mushroom & Parm Eggplant. Slices tastes amazing; feels like a NYC slice with its light crust plus the tomato sauce is tangy & fresh. The location also has a hand washing station inside, which is nice after finishing your food. Overall, Pizza Toni sells tasty pizza.View more
Had a very nice slice of pizza the first time. But this second time the pizza was dry & wasn't as good because it felt like the pizza was on the shelf for a while... Maybe it was a one time thing But def worth coming back since our first experience was really good. def recommended to come try here. could be hard to find because the sign outside isn't pizza Toni. it's like a gum commercial on top of the pizza place. I guess that's what gives it the charm. very popular place so be patient if you go in peak hours. pizzas are decently priced. more on the high side.View more
Legit pizza. It's real close to a New York slice. I had the pep. The sauce (which had a little bite to it), pepperoni & cheese were definitely quality ingredients. I found it a tiny bit too thin but incredible nonetheless. I ordered for pickup & even 45 minutes after the order I waited another 15. They get slammed & hammer out pizzas as fast as they can but do yourself a favor & show up even later than the estimate at peak times so you're not waiting around. Team making pizzas & Nolan running the cash move quick. What a great option...View more
I happened upon Pizza Toni, & even though I just got jerk chicken down the street I came in for a slice... really well done ny style marg slice: thin, crispy bottom & a good level of acid on the sauce. After that I got a square to go, not usually my style but 10/10 would do again. Vibes are dope, hand washing sink...really thoughtful.View more
Slow service at lunch times. Staff take order & not much else. Takeaway pizzas are a different size to those on display for single serve sale. Paying a margin for the novelty of big slices. Gets busy.View more
This pizza is really special. Super thin, crispy crust, with perfect pepperoni & cheese... But their CONSISTENCY is what's truly impressive: It's a quality slice, every single time. "10/10 would recommend" - don't trust the ridiculous 1-star reviews :)View more
Solid slice, ill give it an 8.2. It's a little light on the sauce but the crust has a beautiful char on it. If you're looking for a NY style pizza in town, this is a great choiceView more
