At pizza toni we serve ny style pizzas and “grandma” style square pies. We believe in sourcing the best ingredients we can in order to make the best possible pizzas. Over our first year of operation we kept the menu tight and simple with only 6 pizzas available. We’ve decided that now is the time to open things up and give the people what they want - more options! So, we’ve added a slew of new toppings for you to enjoy. From organic mushrooms to vegan cheese. Build out your dream pie! Pro tip: we recommend you stick to just a few toppings in order to keep the structure of your pie sound.

Review: Pizza Toni
I tried a half Margherita & half pepperoni pizza for $40.
The dough was thin & crispy, but unfortunately, it tasted like a piece of cheap toasted bread. Actually, it was pretty similar to the dough you might find on certain frozen pizzas from your local IGA. Not a far stretch at all.
The pizza didn't have much sauce & was very dry. The little sauce that was there had almost no flavor.
The basil was fresh.
The cheese? Honestly, I don't even remember tasting any. I barely saw any cheese on the pizza either.
Overall, I'd give the Margherita a 6 out of 10. The one good thing was the oil they used, which did have a nice flavor.
Now for the pepperoni side. They used tiny pieces of pepperoni, & the dough had the same issue. It just tasted cheap. Again, barely any sauce & cheese, & what was there was bland.
This place is definitely overrated & overpriced for what you get. Overall, I'd rate this place a 6 out of 10. Rating this place a 6 is me being generous.
Would I go back? Definitely No.View more

The few times I've passed by this place it has always been reasonably busy, so I had some expectations based on the hype. My review is very subjective as I am not too much of a fan of this style of thin, crispy pizza. I favour a thicker, softer pizza personally. I went for the Vodka pep slice. The ingredients were good, tasty sauce but I felt like the cheese was too light for my liking & the overall crispy texture of the pizza just wasn't for me. Service was acceptable, they managed the high demand well. I like the interior set up including the sink to get the grease off your hands before you leave.View more

I really don't get what's so special about this place. The food is okay, but stingy on the toppings, very thin crust (I guess that's what people look for in a'NYC' style pizza), a bit pricey for smallish slices but it is an expensive neighborhood. The sauce was kinda nice. Really shows you the power of proper marketing.View more

Inhaled the pizza in less than 10 minutes so it's fair to say that the food is great. Had the pizza delivered so the crust came in a bit cold since I ordered during winter, but I've been there in person & the vibes were great. Cozy atmosphere, a bit small but the fantastic pizzas & dipping sauces make up for it (did not know ranch & pizza could actually go so well together)

Without a doubt, the best pizza I have ever had in Montreal. When I was looking at an assortment of pizza places online, the pics on this page looked exactly like my favourite pizza in Toronto, so had to give it a try & it did not disappoint. Fabulous sauce. I came in to try Pizza Toni while visiting family in Montreal. It's a good classic thin & crispy pizza. Bonus points for playing 21 savage inside. Nice staff & they stick to classic options. One of the best pizzarias I've been to. They have unique speciality slices every day, like mushroom & Parm Eggplant. Slices tastes amazing; feels like a NYC slice with its light crust plus the tomato sauce is tangy & fresh. Legit pizza. It's real close to a New York slice. I had the pep. The sauce (which had a little bite to it), pepperoni & cheese were definitely quality ingredients. I found it a tiny bit too thin but incredible nonetheless. I ordered for pickup & even 45 minutes after the order I waited another 15. They get slammed & hammer out pizzas as fast as they can but do yourself a favor & show up even later than the estimate at peak times so you're not waiting around. I happened upon Pizza Toni, & even though I just got jerk chicken down the street I came in for a slice... really well done ny style marg slice: thin, crispy bottom & a good level of acid on the sauce. I don't typically care for NY style pizza bit Toni is awesome. Great sauce, great crust, I'm not super crazy about their pepperoni though. I enjoyed their jalapeno with a bit of pepperoni as opposed to their full pepperoni, too oily for the small amount of pepperoni they put.View more

I tried Pizza Toni for the first time & I wanted to leave a review to help others out who might not know what to expect. I'm originally from NJ & I wanted to try this place because it was supposed to have more "NY style" pizza instead of Montreal style pizza. I will say that the crust was definitely reminiscent of NY style pizza & overall I did like it. I ordered the eggplant parmesan pizza for myself & the vegan pizza (with 1/2 pepperoni) for my son. I was a bit disappointed with mine because it tasted like the peppers were marinated in something with vinegar. I really hate vinegar which is why I didn't choose the mushroom pizza (since it said it was their marinated mushroom mix) & I didn't want to take the chance of something vinegary. The pizza I ordered mentioned cheese, tomato sauce, heirloom peppers & eggplant. I can't 100% for sure say it was vinegar, but it was definitely not just plain peppers as they were very tangy & that taste overwhelmed the entire pizza for me. So I can't say if I would have fully liked it or not. I think if I had gotten plain cheese, or if you could choose your toppings, I would have liked it more. My son got the vegan cheese pizza & he really loved the vegan cheese & the pizza itself. I took a bite & I thought the vegan cheese tasted really good. I got 1/2 pepperoni because he really likes pepperoni, but some places are too spicy for him. He has GI issues & so if he eats spicy foods it aggravates his system. Unfortunately although he loved the taste of the pepperoni, he found they were very spicy for him (he's only 10). So I just want to give that caveat to anyone concerned with that. If you like spicy or it doesn't bother you, you will probably like it. The other downside is that the pizzas are VERY expensive. I knew this ahead of time on their website, but I'm just letting people know in case. For me, it was a fun splurge but not something I would order that regularly. It was $87 for 2 pizzas & a hot honey dip, although I did also add pepperoni to a pizza that doesn't normally have it so it might have been extra. I did find the pizzeria to have a nice atmosphere & there were lots of young people hanging out & eating pizza. The restaurant did not seat large numbers, but it still felt spacious & looked very clean. Everyone working there was nice & they looked happy. I really do think that for someone who is not sensitive to vinegar, they would probably really like it. I just don't have an adventurous palate for that kind of stuff. Also, I ordered some hot honey on the side to drizzle on my pizza & it was really delicious.View more
