We came in expecting a casual walk-in pizza place where we could grab a slice, but were told they only sell whole pizzas. We ended up ordering the smallest pizza for $17.
Right after ordering, we noticed there was a deal advertised on a poster for the same-size pizza that also included three drinks for basically the same price. Nobody mentioned that deal to us when we ordered. We asked to switch to it literally about 30 seconds later, & were told it was already too late because they had started making our pizza.
That explanation was especially strange considering we placed the order at 1:21 a.m. & didn't receive the pizza until 1:50 a.m. There was nobody else in the store, & we had ordered the smallest size.
There was also a significant language barrier, as the staff member serving us did not speak English, which made everything harder to sort out. More importantly, the staff were not particularly friendly, welcoming, or kind throughout the interaction. The whole experience felt dismissive rather than hospitable.
Then, when the pizza was finally ready at 1:50 a.m., she asked me whether it was'for here or to go.' I said'for here,' & she immediately told me no, we couldn't eat there because they were closing soon. We had just spent almost 30 minutes sitting there waiting for the pizza, so that was a pretty frustrating way for the experience to end.
The pizza itself wasn't horrible, but I definitely wouldn't call it the best pizza in the world either. It was fine, but nowhere near good enough to make up for the confusing & unfriendly service.
Between not mentioning the advertised deal, refusing to adjust the order seconds after it was placed, the nearly 30-minute wait in an empty restaurant, & then not allowing us to eat there after asking if it was for here, I wouldn't go back.
Credit where credit is due: pizzas are very good & tasty. It's sad that this place loses so much value because of very poor customer service
Issue was when I placed an order (night) on Uber Eats for a goat cheese pizza, they didn't have goat cheese left. Instead of cancelling it on their end, they waited for a driver to show up & invest his time & hard work to tell me to cancel it on my end. Uber charges you full price when you cancel as a customer for no valid reason.
Deceiving practices by the night shift team. I've worked at restaurants with Uber Eats before, you can definitely cancel an order when an item is missing. You just have to pay a 25% fee, of the total value of the order, for it (for Uber).
They want to save a few bucks at the expense of regular customers & hard working delivery drivers
I ordered from here sooo many times, realized I never left a review. Very good pizza, good prices. It's always my go-to for a big group & I always get good comments about it.
I ordered on may 5, i initially complained because i thought that they forgot the cheese on the pizza, but turns out it was underneath the ingredients. It's really good for the price (buy 2 for 1, i wish more restaurants offered that, also super delicious )
