Nice spot.
The apparent real ashta . Different . Pretty decent
Good service
I'm always keen to try new foods & sweets from different cultures/ countries. I ate at this location recently, & overall I have to say it was VERY interesting & enjoyable. Loved the decor, & the friendly staff. I tried the Arabian Crepe & found the Arabian ice cream & ashta very different, & very delicious! I also enjoyed the complimentary square of baklava, & the halawet el jibn I brought home to share with my family also very interesting, & very tasty! My only negative would be that I found the actual crepe on the Arabian crepe plate VERY sweet. Too sweet! So I was grateful for the strawberries on the plate, as well as the aforementioned ashta & ice cream to cut the sweetness. But that's probably an easy fix; perhaps cutting back on the sauces somewhat. Anyway, I'm already looking forward to visiting again, so I can try another sweet that's new to me... :)))
Really cute place with great emperor smoothies loaded with ashta. The large was huge lol, should definitely be shared bw two people. Customer service is impeccable.
Both items tasted awful, ruined by the cheap toasted shredded knafeh dough, the weird ashta, & the unbalanced proportions of chocolate & strawberries. The barely noticeable slices of Arabic ice cream were the only thing that stood out. Overpriced for what it really is. That Dubai cup needs a radical overhaul of ingredients & presentation. There might be better items on the menu, but who knows?
If happiness had a flavor, it would taste like their Chocolamo, a heavenly mix of banana, milk, ashta, & Nutella. It's pure magic in a cup!
Their waffles? Absolutely divine. It's crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, & gone way too fast.
But what really made it special was the service: warm, genuine, & full of heart. The lovely lady behind the counter even took the time to chat with us, & her mom treated us to free baklava samples (spoiler: they're dangerously good).
Safe to say, we left with happy tummies & even happier hearts.
