Delicious food with the loveliest vibes.
Went on a Saturday with my family for brunch & the food was an absolute taste fest! Our server was the kindest & sweetest human being, friend maxxing like a beast! Any & every request was catered to with utmost respect & care. Serina this is for you :)
We had an all vegetarian brunch that included Halloumi Avocado Toast, Traditional Dips platter, Blueberry Pancakes & French Onion Soup. I believe the winner were the dips & the blueberry pancakes! The portion sizes were bigger than anticipated so we had a lot to take away as well.
We all ordered coffee & it's safe to say their iced mocha was the best in town! A definite winner of the entire meal.
I would recommend this location to anyone traveling to Montreal or in the city even for a bit. You will not be disappointed.
5/5 recommended!
Beautiful & underrated restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The shakshuka & Eggs Benedict were both delicious. The staff were friendly, although the service could have been a bit more attentive. Overall, I had a great experience & would definitely recommend this place!
The music is just so good & it adds value to how I enjoy my time in a restaurant. The server was so nice & the decor is like I am in a fairy tale. The wall paper & murals are amazing & ok the coffee cups... Sorry but that pigeon is freaking adorable!
I went a few weeks back, & Food is ok, & the workers are nice. But, the food is SO SLOW, the music is always too loud & the worst part is I saw mice in the dining room… I was utterly disgusted & am so surprised that they haven't gotten any sanctions or inspections. I'm not going back there for mid food that is probably dirty & cross contaminated. Idk what's going on with that place anymore, I keep hearing bad stories from friends & family who used to be regulars. Also it's expensive for what it is
The service was excellent, the atmosphere is beautiful, & the food was tasty. I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict, which was very good, & the other dishes at our table were also enjoyable.
The only major issue was that I found two fish bones in my smoked salmon. Fortunately, I noticed them before breaking a tooth. I informed the waitress, & she kindly offered not to charge me for the filter coffee.
Unfortunately, the coffee was terrible. Interestingly, the mug says it's'the worst coffee in the world,' which might not be irony after all. The brownie was also quite disappointing.
Overall, the food & service were good, but the fish bones & the poor coffee & brownie definitely affected the experience.
So far, so good! I've visited this restaurant twice in the past few days, & both experiences were excellent. I was impressed by the speed of the service, the quality of the food, & the overall atmosphere. The meals were delicious, fresh, & well prepared.
Whether you're looking for a great place to meet with clients, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy one of the best breakfasts or lunches in town, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I'll certainly be coming back.
