Overall, Pigeon Café & Bar comes across as a warm, inviting spot with a bright plant-filled interior and a strong brunch and lunch lineup, where the service is repeatedly praised for being friendly and attentive and the coffee and food, including pancakes, shakshuka, bowls and salads, and waffle fries, are generally well received; some visits are challenged by slow or inconsistent service, occasional language barriers, and prices that some feel are high for the portions, while the atmosphere and vibe encourage guests to return.
Great experience at Pigeon Cafe. Juan Camilo was our waiter & was very kind & attentive. I had the Sabich Benedict & it was very yummy. Highly recommend!
Waited 30 minutes for a tiny $20 tuna sandwich with no update from staff until I asked. No offer of a seat or something else on the menu. They said the toaster was broken, but no one offered an alternative. First time here, & definitely the last.

I mostly go for breakfast. I'm a regular, I go at least ten times a year. However I discovered that the pancakes dish has been reduced to two, from three, while the price has been kept the same. Seriously, removing a pancake? Not happy about this change at all, feels like short changing the customers. Took out two stars as a result.
One of the best spots on Monkland for a night out. The terrace is beautiful & the staff is always nice!! Special thank you to Ava who took care of us yesterday.

Not the best Pigeon branch I have tried. They ran out of grilled chicken & mentioned it would have been a 25-30 mins wait, which was excessive. We've settled for the chicken schnitzel instead.
Service… not much to say about it. When we came in, the waitress did not take the time to acknowledge us & was speaking to her colleague about non-work-related stuff. No utensils were given (no staff realized & we had to ask).
When we first walked in the hostess/'manager' walked by us twice before someone else had to seat us. The food took a little longer than our waiter had told us to expect. The food was prepared nicely & the other waiters were patient when listening to our concerns & kind enough to apologize for the hostess's attitude.
Overall a very middle of the pack restaurant experience.
