I truly wanted to like this restaurant after all the hype but the food was very mediocre & overpriced in my opinion. Bagel was not tasty & the food did not taste fresh.

Je suis allé•e ici pour brunch avec des ami•es. Nous avons pris les flat whites, le sabich Benedict, le merguez shakshuka, le waffle fries & le halloumi & labneh (& du café bien sûr)! Tout était délicieux! 🤤 Le décor est chique 👌 & il faut arriver tôt pour avoir des sièges en plein air (c'est lourd à l'intérieur). I went here with friends we had flat whites, sabich Benedict, merguez shakshuka, waffle fries, & halloumi & labneh (& coffee of course)! Everything was yummy 🤤 & decor was chique. 👌 Make sure to arrive early to get seats outside. Bonus: Les plats à l'entrée sont drôles & il y a une murale de Larry David. Les toilettes individuels & musique 🎵 The plates at the entrance are funny & there is a mural of Larry David. Single stall toilets & music 🎶 il y a des chaises hautes pour les enfants. High chairs for kids.
When I first arrived I ask long the wait usually was & the girl said "I don't know as long as it takes" then rolled her eyes. I found the answer to the rude & if it wasn't for the short wait time I would have never chose to eat here. We ordered a matcha tea latte & normally latte both made with no care. The espresso in the latte was burnt & as for the matcha latte, it was too sweet for my liking I couldn't finish it. As for food my sibling & I both ordered the blueberry buttermilk pancakes & they were ok until I bit into a chunk of baking power which set me off & concluded my meal. The atmosphere is loud & the decor is in need of a dusting, artificial trees had dust floating down on to us & the food.

Ordered a takeout breakfast from the cafe, overall okay, but disappointed as the pancake wasn't blueberry as requested, & it was a bit too salty. Additionally, paid for an extra bagel that was missing from the order. Hoping for better accuracy & service next time. 🍽️
Un endroit magnifique, j'ai aimé la Decoration, l'ambiance & beaucoup plus le services La bouffe 10/10. On a été servi par Monsieur Jakob Merci pour vous❤️❤️
I was really surprised I didn't think the food would be that great so I went & the food was very very good I had the matzo ball soup tasted like my grandmother's I had the chicken schnitzel it was fresh the bun was fresh lettuce tomato fresh service was wonderful I will definitely go back

Les boissons chaudes étaient agréables, les cookies également. Le tout revient assez cher & le service laisse à désirer (peu de considération de la part des serveurs).
The shakshuka was phenomenal. Wish it was bigger but that's just the American in me being hungry 🤤 for 2 people you can eat very well for 50 CAD & a drink for both. Definitely worth.
