Stopped by for a quick brunch before heading back to uni, & I was pleasantly surprised by the food. My friend & I shared the croissant sandwich & the eggs Benedict. The croissant was phenomenal-crispy, buttery, & filled with perfectly balanced ingredients. Special mention to the salami, which was incredibly flavorful. The eggs Benedict were spot-on, cooked to perfection, though I found it a bit disappointing that they were served on such a large plate without a side (a small salad would have made the presentation feel less empty).
The iced lattes also hit the spot-I'm a big fan of their maple latte & usually grab one to go. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this café if you're near McGill & looking for a quick, satisfying bite!Voir plus

LOVE THIS PLACE! The atmosphere, the food, the music, the drinks… so good! I've been a few times & have never been disappointed by this place. The food was delicious & service was good. I had the merguez shakshuka at the recommendation of the server & it was fantastic, just spicy enough, the pine nuts & pomegranate were fresh & had a nice crunch, the tahini was very flavorful, the egg yolks were moderately runny which is perfect for shakshuka, & the stewed tomatoes were fresh & bright tasting. Overall the ingredients were very good quality & preparation was very good. 8/10 I also had an Americano, which was decent, about 7/10, although it had a slight burnt taste. Contra other reviews, service was very good for my Monday lunch. A hostess noticed me with 10 seconds, walked over, & seated me. She seemed busy, so after I put my menu down to show I was ready, I made eye contact with the bartender/barista & he jumped in to take my food & drink order. Every server was friendly & helpful. The food was just the right portion & the price was what I expect for the very central & busy location & chic, vibey interior. I am a pretty tough reviewer, but I think this place deserves a solid 4.1, 4.2.Voir plus

A Hidden Gem in Downtown Montreal! Pigeon Café on McGill College is a fantastic spot in the heart of downtown. With its stylish decor, friendly staff, & diverse menu, it's a place worth checking out. I've visited twice-once when it had just opened, enjoying its lovely summer terrace, & again on January 26th 2025, when I tried a delicious slice of Antoine's apple pie. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend stopping by & discovering it for yourself!Voir plus
