Very different since ownership changed. Food is much worse & the order got messed up - they put on my least favorite ingredients which I did not mark on my little sheet.
Sadly won't be returning unless ownership changes back.
Only reason for 2 stars is that the man that helped us was super kind & the prices are ok.
Bread & meat is too dry compared to before.

Amazing prices, fab service, patties could've been on the thinner side because it was hard to bite on those thick ones. Also, thinner patties would've given a nice fine crust, making the burger experience much juicier & more enjoyable.
Best burger in Montreal. Quality meat for the best price I have seen out there, along with delicious sauces & soft yet crunchy buns are undeniably good!
I used to go weekly when the owners 10 years ago & I was in college (very understanding prices) & nowadays it still has the same tasty food & warm ambiance. Highly recommend it
This place got a lot of upvotes in a reddit thread so I thought I'd give it a try. Apparently they switched owners but the guys I was met with were handling my order with such pride & care that I assumed they had been there for ages. The burger was delicious & tasted just as fresh as they claimed. While it isn't the best place to sit down & dine, the fact that it's located on St Marc makes it easy to find a nearby spot to quickly park & pick-up. Definitely coming back.

Fully customizable burger joint with a great variety of toppings (shoutout the smoked Gouda) i love a good hole in the wall spot & it feels comforting to be here with the drawings put up on the wall from past customers. I don't usually gravitate towards burgers but this place is a new favourite in my heart. Tina is a great employee who always gives some excellent service! these burgers are still on my mind a few days later, I'll definitely be coming back!

I used to love Picks; it was hands-down the best burger joint in downtown. Seeing the elderly Korean couple every time gave me such a sense of familiarity & comfort.
However, I noticed the ownership has changed. The moment I opened the door, I was hit by a heavy smell of grease. They didn't seem to turn on the exhaust fan at all during the entire process, & the smoke just kept getting thicker-it was quite unpleasant to be surrounded by such an oily atmosphere. While the shop looked decent in terms of cleanliness, the food was a total disappointment. The burgers taste completely different now. We ordered & paid for extra toppings & sauces, but they were missing from our order entirely. The patties have lost that signature juiciness I used to love.
It's such a shame to lose such a great spot. I won't be coming back.
Absolutely in love in the amount of variation they give in customizations, beating most competitors in the neighborhood. Picks has another person to add to their international clientele! Lo aprecio ❤?

One of my personal enjoyment of Picks is the old korean couple who move with little urgency but produce high quality foods at the blink of the eye.
Regulars are in for a surprise as they have sinced retired & sold this beloved hole in the wall. I hope this review will provide confidence to those who come by & see news faces behind the cash register that the quality & taste is exactly the same. The new proprietors were trained for a month & it shows. They even kept the wall of drawings.
