About

Pick Thaï specializes in authentic Southeast Asian cuisine with a focus on bold, aromatic flavor profiles. The menu showcases traditional Thai techniques, highlighting fragrant curries, stir-fried rice dishes, and fresh noodle preparations seasoned with house-made pastes. Crisp, vibrant salads incorporate zesty lime and chili elements to balance rich coconut milk bases common in regional specialties. Patrons select from a variety of proteins, including succulent meats and tofu, served alongside jasmine rice or customized noodle textures. The interior provides a functional space suitable for efficient, high-quality meals centered on spice-forward ingredients and complex, savory depth. Each plate emphasizes structural precision, ensuring that herbs, aromatics, and proteins maintain their distinct integrity while merging within the characteristic heat and acidity of the culinary tradition. This establishment delivers consistent results through disciplined preparation methods.

Guests frequently praise the warm, chic, and cozy atmosphere, which makes it a popular destination for both casual dinners and special group gatherings. While most diners highlight the delicious curries, mango salads, and attentive service, some feedback notes that pricing can be on the higher side and that service consistency or ingredient preferences may vary. Pick Thai is what has been missing around the Vendôme station area : a chic, yet affordable Thai restaurant where you can have a variety of exotic meals. The decor is well balanced. Windows surround both dining rooms, allowing light to irradiate the interiors all day. The daylight brightness is balanced with the dark-colored furniture, making your supper/lunch at Pick Thai a pleasant experience, both for your mouth & eyes.

We had the most delicious meal at Pick Thai. What a treat to have a brand new, gorgeous Thai restaurant in the Decarie/Vendome area.

You'll have to watch out because the location may not be where you expect it - you have to walk up a short set of stairs in what looks a bit like a condo. But once you get inside, you will notice that the decor is beautiful - rich, dark wood paneling, floor to ceiling mirrors, & impressive accents from around the world.

The food was a hit as well. Everything was so fresh, hot, & delicious, with the perfect mix of sweet, sour & a touch of spice.

We had a fantastic appetizer of Nuea Thod Katiem (Bite sized beef chunks mixed with garlic & Thai herbs & deep fried)on salad - which was crispy & delicious. & not just any beef was used - they used Filet mignon. Next we shared Yam Mamuang - mango salad with lime, & peppers. Again - a real hit.

For mains, we shared the classic Pad Thai with chicken, which really was the perfect mix of sweet & sour topped with fresh, crunchy bean sprouts, & Green Curry with shrimp which had the delicious sweetness of coconut milk punctuated with a hit of spice. I think there might have been a touch of melon in there which was very creative.

As I said, everything was piping hot & so fresh. When you are used to "fast food" Thai, there is nothing that beats made-to-order, authentic homemade Thai.

& the couple who run the place are the sweetest.

We will definitely be back!
