Ouvert en 1971 par Giuseppe Lenti, Piazza Romana fut a l'origine un restaurant tres petit pouvant acceuillir selement 32 personnes. Ce dernier a ete joint plus tards par son frere, Sestino Odoardi et par la suite en 1988, son epouse, Maria prennait la releve du restaurant. En moins de cinq ans, le restaurant avail prit de l'expantion et il est devenue un des meilleurs restaurant de fine cuisine italienne. En fait, le Helen Rochester de la gazette l'a range parmi les 20 principaux restaurants. Bien que le restaurant a grandi au file du temps, la famile d"Odoardi continue d'offrir une ambiance chaleureuse qui est typique de la facon traditionnelle italienne.

Food lacking taste but ok. They advertise that cash tips are appreciated. We left 15 % cash tip & server was upset & somehow rude ! Seems it wasn't enough for him .Voir plus

I haven't been there in 4 or 5 years. In Pointe Claire Village. Always a nice atmosphere, fireplace, & in the summer you can take a lovely walk along the lakeshore by the water, & through the village. I had a Romana's pizza & some wine. Traditional, good, italian fare. Was very tasty. Good service, white tablecloths, all this makes a nice change, for a lunch destination.Voir plus

The food was good! But our server messed up in one of the pasta sauces, he never came to see if everything was okay, disnt ask if we wanted anything else to drink. It took for ever to get the bill. I loved the food, but wouldnt recommend this placeVoir plus

Très déçue! il faisait vraiment froid,on a du réclamer des chaufferettes. La minestrone était servie tiède,le bouillon trop salé & seul quelque feuilles de choux la garnissait.J'étais gênée car je recevais famille & amis.Par contre le service était courtois.Je ne sais pas si j'y retournerai.Voir plus

Food was excellent problem was our server. He brought the bill & I proceeded to leave a 30%tip in cash on the table in plain sight. I paid the bill with a credit card & put no tip on the card.(again the 30% was sitting on the table in cash). The waiter proceeded to tell me how the bill amount & the credit card receipt were for the same amount & that tip isn't included in the price... I pointed to the $50 tip sitting on the table at which time he backtracked with some stupid excuse about not being sure if I had left the 50$ there by accident. Very embarrassing & very low class waiter. Too bad. Been going to piazza romana for over 20 years & usually food & service is very good.Voir plus

I tried again after 7 years this restaurant. Last time I was disapponted with the service but this time the service was the best you can expect. The foods & appetizers were higher than average but not excellent. The atmospher is alsi nice with fireplace & beautiful pointe claire village.Voir plus

Calamari were very good, Pizza Romana was as good as I remembered from 40 years ago. Portions was good on Calamari but found pizza could have be bigger. Waiter came only three times, once with water then the Calamari then the pizza. Never asked if we wanted more water or anything else. Overall food good service so so.Voir plus
