Ouvert en 1971 par Giuseppe Lenti, Piazza Romana fut a l'origine un restaurant tres petit pouvant acceuillir selement 32 personnes. Ce dernier a ete joint plus tards par son frere, Sestino Odoardi et par la suite en 1988, son epouse, Maria prennait la releve du restaurant. En moins de cinq ans, le restaurant avail prit de l'expantion et il est devenue un des meilleurs restaurant de fine cuisine italienne. En fait, le Helen Rochester de la gazette l'a range parmi les 20 principaux restaurants. Bien que le restaurant a grandi au file du temps, la famile d"Odoardi continue d'offrir une ambiance chaleureuse qui est typique de la facon traditionnelle italienne.

First time eating here. It was Mother's Day at lunch time, so not very busy, but it still took a little long to get our meal. Food was delicious though. My only complaint, was that I saw their online menu that the veal I ordered was listed at $30. but in reality it had gone up to $37.00 A little expensive, so don't be surprised. They also cut down on the quantity. The arancini you get with the specials is only one now. You used to get two. Update your online menu please, so people know the true prices!Voir plus

Very disappointed ..we have been going to this restaurant for 10 years for Mother's Day . When booking , no one told my husband that it was a set menu so we found out once we all sat down. The set menu was not great choices , was overpriced & food was just « ok ». We won't be going back ...Voir plus

Took at least 15 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. Did not have a manager there on a Saturday night. When we were finally seated, a waiter was not assigned to us & we didn't receive any menus. It took 1 hour & 40 minutes from the time we ordered our food until we got it & 3 tables that arrived after us were served before us. The food was good but the wait time was inexcusable. Food lacking taste but ok. They advertise that cash tips are appreciated. We left 15 % cash tip & server was upset & somehow rude ! Seems it wasn't enough for him .Voir plus

I haven't been there in 4 or 5 years. In Pointe Claire Village. Always a nice atmosphere, fireplace, & in the summer you can take a lovely walk along the lakeshore by the water, & through the village. I had a Romana's pizza & some wine. Traditional, good, italian fare. Was very tasty. Good service, white tablecloths, all this makes a nice change, for a lunch destination.Voir plus

The food was good! But our server messed up in one of the pasta sauces, he never came to see if everything was okay, disnt ask if we wanted anything else to drink. It took for ever to get the bill. I loved the food, but wouldnt recommend this placeVoir plus
