the pho was pretty good! we got the dac biet as per usual. the broth was really nice - which is the most important for me. however, the service was obviously awful because they don't approach you & you pay up front. i did not pay for it & did not wish to tip as much because there was literally no point like ... all they really did was bring the food to me.Voir plus

Ce petit restaurant Familiale est une pépite dans le China Town si vous recherchez & appréciez la véritable cuisine Vietnamienne, les saveurs, les espaces simples où on apprécie de s'entendre parler sans hurler même plutôt en chuchotant pour dire à quel point cet endroit est calme & agréable. La Famille qui tient cette place est en or, accueillante & très enthousiaste à l'idée d'échanger sur les plats. Surtout n'ayez pas peur en descendant les escalier, ce n'est pas le décor ici qui est la pépite mais la Famille qui nous reçoit & la cuisine qu'ils préparent avec soin & rapidité pour celles & ceux qui ont moins de temps... I have no complaints about the food, I am a regular customer, but the staff asks for tips & says that I have to give them 30% otherwise they will not serve me. When I objected that the tip & its amount is at my discretion, they said that I have to tip them since this is Canada. They also tried to add a tip to my bill without my knowledge, & when I said that this should not be done, they said that they will spit in the food next time I come, I can not recommend it.Voir plus

This was a quaint hidden place (located down a flight of stairs) & was so worth the visit. Their banh xeo was delicious & they were very generous with their veggies & herbs. Would definitely come back to try their other dishes.Voir plus

Si vous cherchez un restaurant vietnamien authentique, ne cherchez pas plus loin. En plus, nourriture reçue vitesse fast food! Le Pho était délicieux, le spécial, autant que celui au poulet. Notre serveuse était très gentille, souriante, à l'écoute & efficace. Même pas besoin de demander quoique ce soit, elle appréhendait nos besoins & arrivait déjà avec tout ce qu'on pourrait avoir de besoin & plus, à chaque étape. C'était vraiment un super service. Ça vaut le détour! Nous avons aussi roulé nos propres rouleaux de printemps & c'était très bon!Voir plus

The environment is an old-style Asia restaurant but the seating is still okay. I feel like the chopstick & spoon is a little bit sticky. Ordered vermicelli with tomato crab soup. The soup is okay (not amazed but really not bad) but the portion of vermicelli is a bit small compared to what I had in Toronto. The pig blood, beancurd & crab meatball is a bit bad - you can tell that they just cook them in hot water then pour to the bowl, so they are flavourless.Voir plus

First time visiting from out of town. Overall was disappointed based on reviews read. Ordered 2 pho, bun bo hue, shrimp roll & shredded rolls. Pho was ok, bun bo hue was actually better than I thought! The basil was sparse & looked like insects bit the leaves. Pho soup was warm, not hot. The rolls were also meh. The washroom lived up to standards- disgusting & smelly. Walking out, overheard 2 young girls talking about good pho places. Told them this wasn't one of them! One girl said she was a local & this was the best pho. I told her how sorry I was for her! Get back to my hotel & see owner over charged me on the menu for wrong items - to make an extra $3-7? Rarely do I say this but would have rather eaten McDonald's. Eat at your own peril.Voir plus

Good soup, good noodles, good meat. Essentially what you need for a great bowl of pho! Sure the atmosphere is lacking but as I always say; if the restaurant looks bad & has been in business for a while it just means they've put all their efforts in the food 🤗Voir plus
