Pho Ngon focuses on the authentic preparation of traditional Vietnamese noodle soups characterized by deep, aromatic broths simmered for extended durations to extract maximum flavor. The menu features classic bowls of pho served with a variety of protein options alongside fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and lime wedges to enhance each bite. Beyond soup, the selection includes a range of rice vermicelli dishes and light spring rolls wrapped in thin, translucent rice paper. Each dish reflects a commitment to balance, combining savory, salty, and subtle sweet notes essential to the regional culinary profile. The dining space emphasizes a functional and efficient environment suitable for those seeking straightforward, flavorful meals prepared with precise techniques. This establishment remains dedicated to consistent output and the careful preservation of authentic seasoning profiles across all offered liquid and solid components.
Pho Ngon is widely recognized for serving consistently delicious and authentic Vietnamese cuisine, particularly its flavorful broth and generous portions. Many long-time customers praise the restaurant for its rapid service, reasonable prices, and convenient location. However, recent reviews highlight a significant inconsistency in customer service, with some visitors reporting rude behavior, aggressive attitudes regarding tipping, and a lack of professionalism from certain staff members. While the food remains a primary draw, the mandatory cash-only policy and occasional issues with cleanliness or staff interactions have impacted the dining experience for some patrons.
I came around 35 minutes before closing time & stuffs were not happy. I mean don't except us if you don't want to.
When I walk in, they didn't greed or say hello, one guy just point a table for me & my wife to sit. The Pho was ok but the grilled pork was not fresh.
They were swearing & saying bad words in Vietnamese (we understood the language) in the background & also smashing tray & stuffs which made us feel like we were eating in a war zone. This behavior is unacceptable.
I read other reviews & it seems like I'm not the only one.
I went to this restaurant, & the customer service was very disappointing. They didn't greet us or make us feel welcome. When we entered, the only thing they asked was,'Take out or dine in?' They didn't say hello or anything else.
The food was good, but while we were still eating, they started clearing our table before we had finished our meal. They also didn't accept card payments, which was inconvenient.
Overall, the food was good, but the customer service was very poor.

1/10 POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
NEGLIGENT STAFF & UNSAFE ENVIRONMENT
🚫GO AT YOUR OWN RISK ⚠?
This was one of the most unprofessional, dangerous, & disgraceful restaurant experiences I've ever had in my entire life!!!!!!!!
Firstly, my family & I arrived just one hour before closing time. Secondly, the staff was visibly & disturbingly agitated, annoyed & rushing through each customer interaction. Thirdly, the restaurant floor in the dining area was extremely slippery & unhygienic, creating what we felt was an unsafe environment for both customers & staff. Fourthly, our order was taken in a very rushed manner & without any kind welcome. Fifthly, they falsely advertised chicken pho, which we were very eager to taste, but to our dismay it was no longer offered. Sixthly, as a fellow Viet, I can tell you that the fried rolls were not good at all. Seventhly, after repeated dissatisfaction, a young inexperienced naive mute waiter shoved my younger sister's plate which she was eating on & dropped a bowl of boiling hot pho on her leg & groin. She was badly burned, trembling, humiliated, embarrassed & in complete shock. Lastly, what should have been a calm family night actually turned into a stressful & frightening.
We were horrified by how our situation was handled afterward. There was little sense of accountability, & no meaningful effort was made to make things right. Despite the seriousness of the incident, no compensation, gift card, refund, or other gesture of goodwill was offered. We immediately left & went to the pharmacy to purchase treatment products for her wound.
Customer safety should be a restaurant's top priority. A slippery floor severe enough to contribute to an accident involving hot food is something that should be addressed immediately. Based on our experience, we will never come back & never ever recommend this restaurant & hope management takes steps to improve both safety standards & how they respond when customers are seriously harmed. A report will be made for this inexcusable negligence to flag this restaurant as unsafe & unsanitary.
Good luck!
Am I incredibly irked that they don't accept debit? Absolutely! Can you get delicious pho for 2 for $30 elsewhere? Not that I know of, but I don't need to look.
Coolest Resto Staff!! My wife & I had a great time here~ The food is amazing, flavorful, & protein-packed!! Our servers were super welcoming, witty, & understood exactly what food we needed!! Highly recommend~ Cash only, & they have an ATM machine too~
