The first encouter you get will most likely set the tone for the rest & the manager at the door did just that. A zombie that looked at me top to bottom like i didn't belong there.
Philinos gives you a sense of high end, higher standard type of greek restaurant but its not..
I payed 39$ for a small bowl of rubber fried calamari
17$ for a bland grec salad (again another small bowl), 68$ for 2 pieces of 5cm lamb & half inch chicken filets (at least that was good)
36$ for 3 Baklava cheesecake.
Side note** we celebrated 3 birthdays at once. None even one of the cheescake was gifted.
I got robbed. The waiteress was very good but left alone on a crowded restaurant. All that to get the payment terminal ripped from my hands & vanishing without saying anything. Philinos was based on someone's recommandation while any other greek restaurant would've done better.
My family was deeply disspapointed. Manager should greet, make sure she's properly staffed & to stop robbing people. We're no fools
Restaurant très populaire où la salle à manger se remplit sans troubles les soirs de semaine ainsi que la fin de semaine. À garder en tête que le niveau sonore ambiant est assez élevé nécessitant de hausser le niveau de la voix lors de conversations entre famille/collègues.
Des assiettes de viande & de légumes communes peuvent être commandées pour toutes les personnes assises à une table ce qui permet à chacun de goûter à chaque délicatesse offerte par le restaurant.
Les ingrédients sont frais & les repas à bon goût.
Le restaurant & la salle de bains sont localisés au rez-de-chaussée.
Plusieurs commerces sont desservis par le stationnement qui est de petite superficie. Cela complexifie trouver une place pour laisser sont véhicule. À garder en tête qu'il y a des places de stationnement à l'arrière du complexe.
Great good, amazing service, superbe ambiance. Was served by the best waiter Anthony (friendly, A1 service,) what more can you ask for…..A+++ in my book !!!

For quick, well-executed Greek food, this is the place. This was probably the juiciest, most succulent pork souvlaki I've ever had. The pork was tastier & juicier than the chicken. Honourable mention to the fresh, delicious, tangy roasted potatoes. However, the decor & ambiance needs work - it's tacky, cold & thoughtless which was disappointing.
It's a bring your own booze restaurant. The only good thing about it & the decoration which is nice as well. The rest is sub-par : food, service & of course ambience. There are better places around. Verdict : unless you don't have other options...I wouldn't go.

We just celebrated my son's confirmation & truly had a remarkable experience from booking the restaurant & the day of the event. I want to thank Terri for being hospitable & welcoming from minute one.He truly is a pleasure to deal with & very accommodating. We truly enjoyed the delicious food , amazing mouth watering appetizers, beautiful presentation & truly tasteful all around. The calamari were perfectly cooked , served hot! Octopus salad so fresh & tasty! The meat platter a must try alongside potatoes! A special thank you to our waitress Tiana; truly a delightful young lady who served us graciously & with a smile! I truly recommend this restaurant for a special event, intimate dinner or a night out with friends! Great ambiance, DELICIOUS food & amazing staff & service! Adriana 😊
Went there for the first time because of a wedding. Not only was the food delicious, everything was cooked to the perfection, the service was professional & the ambiance was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place. Gotta say, the fried calamari dish is by far the best one I've tried.. & the meat.. still have the taste in my mouth! 🤤 Also have to mention that we had a friend that had all kinds of complicated allergies & usually she would just eat little food when we bring her to restaurants. It's the first restaurant that I get to see her eat so much. 🥹 Thanks to the Philinos Laval team for the special attention & making that evening memorable to everyone.
Nice to find out great local food, & BYOD too! The resto was packed & very noisy, hard to talk if big group. Service was good. We ordered a lamb dish & seafood platter to share & it was enough! A bit more expensive than I thought & no kids menu but food was good.
Great service by John. We had the'mezzedakia' plate. It's a meat platter with grilled classics like chicken breast, pork, loukaniko (greek sausage). & lamb chops. We added a salad & a saganaki appetizer. Very good. Efagaristo!
Me & my partner had an absolutely lovely time!! The food is fantastic (the octopus is a must, the lamb chops were so juicy) & the atmosphere was warm & lively. Shout out to Tony the co-owner who so warmly greeted us & made us feel so welcome!
Overall the food was good. I enjoyed note the main plates. Lamb chops were amazing as usual, & the grilled chicken as well. Everything grilled is amazing. As for the appetizers they lacked seasoning rather bland. Saganki was excellent . Should be more seasoning on the salad the bread the eggplant zucchini chips …needs more seasoning !! As for everything else was excellent lol i will come back & have saganki & lamb chops with fries ! 😉
