The first encouter you get will most likely set the tone for the rest & the manager at the door did just that. A zombie that looked at me top to bottom like i didn't belong there.
Philinos gives you a sense of high end, higher standard type of greek restaurant but its not..
I payed 39$ for a small bowl of rubber fried calamari
17$ for a bland grec salad (again another small bowl), 68$ for 2 pieces of 5cm lamb & half inch chicken filets (at least that was good)
36$ for 3 Baklava cheesecake.
Side note** we celebrated 3 birthdays at once. None even one of the cheescake was gifted.
I got robbed. The waiteress was very good but left alone on a crowded restaurant. All that to get the payment terminal ripped from my hands & vanishing without saying anything. Philinos was based on someone's recommandation while any other greek restaurant would've done better.
My family was deeply disspapointed. Manager should greet, make sure she's properly staffed & to stop robbing people. We're no fools
I had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, full of authentic flavors, & the warm atmosphere made the evening even better.
A huge shout-out to Sharon, our server, who was absolutely outstanding. She was attentive, professional, friendly, & incredibly efficient - she truly made our visit exceptional.
I highly recommend Philinos, especially if you're lucky enough to be served by Sharon!

We had a wonderful experience thanks to Sharon, who took such great care of us even though the place was very busy. Her friendly & attentive service made us feel welcome & well looked after. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm & inviting, & everything ran smoothly despite the crowd. Sharon truly went above & beyond - we really appreciated her kindness & professionalism. Highly recommend!
We ordered the Saganaki, fish, & meat platter, which should include potatoes & rice. Everything was well seasoned & delicious. I would highly recommend it.
I came to Philinos for my daughter's birthday having been told how amazing the food & service was. I experienced first hand how quick efficient & polite the waiters & waitresses are. The food was sublime & I 100% recommend this establishment for any kind of event. 10/10
Recently went to the Laval location with a large group of friends. The place was really empty & they seemed decidedly upset that we kept them there on a Sunday evening. The waiter was arrogant & straight up rude. Their Greek salad was an embarrassment. I could easily make it better at home. The octopus was tough & tasteless. The sea bass, however, was very good. Since there are many better options for Greek in the Montreal-Laval area & because the service was awful, I would not go back & cannot recommend it.
We just celebrated my son's confirmation & truly had a remarkable experience from booking the restaurant & the day of the event. I want to thank Terri for being hospitable & welcoming from minute one.He truly is a pleasure to deal with & very accommodating. We truly enjoyed the delicious food , amazing mouth watering appetizers, beautiful presentation & truly tasteful all around. The calamari were perfectly cooked , served hot! Octopus salad so fresh & tasty! The meat platter a must try alongside potatoes! A special thank you to our waitress Tiana; truly a delightful young lady who served us graciously & with a smile! I truly recommend this restaurant for a special event, intimate dinner or a night out with friends! Great ambiance, DELICIOUS food & amazing staff & service! Adriana 😊
We recently had our wedding reception at Philinos Laval... We were 160 over satisfied people with a lot of memories to last a lifetime! Not only was the food top notch...but the service. I have to say, I've been to many weddings, baptisms & such as well as restaurants...the service Terri & his wonderful staff provided was beyond anyones expectations. They were part of the party & no one was overlooked. Everyone with food restrictions or allergies were personally taken care of & many of our guests provided their positive feedback. They had never been so well taken care of before. I definitely recommend this restaurant for any event be it just a supper or something special. We are still glowing from how much fun & the great atmosphere! You CANNOT go wrong! We love you team Philinos Laval!!! THANK YOU FOR ALL THE MEMORIES!!!
Went there for the first time because of a wedding. Not only was the food delicious, everything was cooked to the perfection, the service was professional & the ambiance was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place. Gotta say, the fried calamari dish is by far the best one I've tried.. & the meat.. still have the taste in my mouth! 🤤 Also have to mention that we had a friend that had all kinds of complicated allergies & usually she would just eat little food when we bring her to restaurants. It's the first restaurant that I get to see her eat so much. 🥹 Thanks to the Philinos Laval team for the special attention & making that evening memorable to everyone.

1re fois qu'on y allait & ce ne sera pas la dernière ! Pain avec huile & balsamique en arrivant. Leur salade césar est de loin une des meilleures que j'ai mangé ! Vinaigrette césar à l'ail maison, tzaziki maison, les patates avec un soupçon de citron... délicieuses 👌 Le service était rapide & courtois. Mon conjoint a demandé de tamiser les lumières & ce ne fût pas un problème, merci !!! Je leur donnerais plus que 5 étoiles ⭐️ Si vous avez envie d'un bon resto grec, je le recommande à tous ! (apportez votre vin)
Great place, I definitely recommend. The meat platter did not disappoint, it was tasty & can easily feed 3 to 4. Service was good, we were a large group & they kept up with everyone's needs.
