The beginning of the evening was pleasant; however, as the night went on & the restaurant became busier, the service declined. It appeared they were understaffed, but waiting over 30 minutes for the waiter to return was disappointing.
Unfortunately, the food did not make up for it. As shown in the photo, the'veggies & potatoes' described on the menu consisted of frozen green beans, carrots, & broccoli that were not properly steamed, along with just three small potato wedges. This meal was not worth $30.
Additionally, the birthday cake we received did not taste fresh, & the complimentary bread also seemed stale. The chairs were also quite uncomfortable.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially given the prices.
Update: it's been a few months now & I'm still irritated. I just went to another restaurant & we high key found a bug in our salad & it still beats this place!
I've been coming to Philinos for years. The food & service is always great. 👌 The mixed meat platter is delicious. Highly recommend this place if you're craving authentic Greek eats.
If you want a delightful evening filled with the best service & the freshest food available you can do no better than'Philinos' West Island!
We have enjoyed many meals at this location & will continue to do so! Specialties like'The Mediterranean Platter' are often repeated!
Dining at'Philinos' West Island' is as close to dining in Greece as possible! The personnel/the service are the best, always!

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Philinos, & it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
We had the group menu, & the food was absolutely delicious. There was a great variety of dishes, & everything was full of flavor. A true authentic Greek experience all around.
The ambience was warm & inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special celebration. The service was excellent throughout the evening, & the restaurant manager was incredibly accommodating, helping make the event run smoothly.
Thank you to Spiros & the entire team for making this milestone celebration so memorable. We highly recommend Philinos for both special occasions & a great dining experience.
