Nous sommes un comptoir du quartier Mile End de Montréal qui sert des dumplings ukrainiens, aussi connus sous le nom de perogies ou de varenyky. Nous fabriquons nos propres dumplings à partir de recettes familiales mises à jour, en mélangeant des saveurs traditionnelles, saisonnières et modernes. By FAR my favorite place I ate while visiting Montreal! I can't recommend this place enough, definitely stop by for a bite.
The food was excellent, the staff was incredibly friendly. There's a lovely little patio to sit at outside the shop.
10/10 perogies. I ordered the patates/ cheddar, a portion of 6 perogies for $11.
The potatoes were smooth & creamy & the cheddar taste was sharp & perfect. I wish I could have taken them home with me!

The menu isn't huge, but you can find all the main favorite dishes. It's very clean & beautiful inside, with a warm & cozy atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. ✨
The staff is just wonderful, very pleasant & beautiful girls working there, always with a smile & ready to help. 😊
& their borscht is simply magnificent! Rich, aromatic, with a deep flavor. & the pierogies (varenyky) are incredibly delicious - you can tell everything is made by hand & with heart, following the best traditions. 😋 Every dish feels like it's warmed with care.
If you want to try real Ukrainian borscht & pierogies in Montreal, & experience a heartfelt warmth & hospitality, this is definitely the place for you! I recommend Perogie Lili with all my heart! 👍

This is one of the best Ukrainian restaurant I've visited, it's truly authentic & delicious! The warm welcome & calm ambience make the dining experience even better. Highly recommend!

I visited Ukraine Restoran Perogie Lili with friends & was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere & the incredible quality of the food. It immediately reminded me of how my mom used to cook-the smell, the taste, everything felt so authentic.
The borsch was rich & flavorful, & the Carpathian tea added a perfect cozy touch. I tried the perogies with potato & cheese, & they were soft, perfectly cooked, & full of taste. I also tried the meat ones-absolutely delicious. The chef really knows what they're doing.
This place offers a true homemade Ukrainian taste. Easily the best I've had so far. Highly recommend!

Experience spontanée pour gouter pour la premiere fois des perogies. La dame qui nous a servie nous a tout expliqué & était très excitée de pouvoir nous faire découvrir cette cuisine !
Nous avons pris ceux patates+fromage, ceux saisonniers au choux & ceux signatures au cheesecake. Tous étaient très delicieux mais ceux au cheesecake etaient vraiment un standout. Elle nous a aussi offert généreusement leur vin chaud sans alcool qui etait aussi très bon.
Je recommande a 100% pour un petit repas réconfortant & simple !

À absolument visiter dans le Mile-End ! Les perogies sont simplement divins & fondent quasiment dans la bouche ! Je recommande les perogies patates + fromage & les kapusta :) Le borsch était pas mal, & le glühwein est un peu cher mais vaut vraiment la peine d'essayer. Le décor est très beau & il y a suffisamment de sièges pour accueillir les clients. Le service était superbe aussi, la demoiselle a pris le temps de m'expliquer le menu & m'a offert des recommandations. Bel endroit pour se réchauffer & se régaler !

Il n'a suffi que d'une bouchée pour comprendre que je n'avais jamais mangé de vrais perogies. Je vous recommande le #1 (recette originale) avec extra bacon, accompagné des classiques crème sûre & oignons. Pour une texture parfaite, demandez-les poêlés. 🤤
& si cela ne suffit pas à vous convaincre… J'ai également eu la chance de discuter avec le propriétaire, qui m'a expliqué la mission derrière Lili. Non seulement il s'engage à offrir les meilleurs perogies en ville, mais il est aussi le seul à les proposer faits & servis par des Ukrainiens.
Grâce au programme CUAET (Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel), un visa spécial mis en place par le gouvernement canadien en mars 2022, quelques semaines après l'invasion russe en Ukraine, il offre une chance aux nouveaux arrivants. Il leur propose une situation stable & un avantage compétitif, transformant des vies tout en mettant la cuisine ukrainienne sur la carte culinaire montréalaise.

The best vareniki (pierogi) ever! Even better than some places in Ukraine. Highly recommend this warm place to anyone who loves vareniki with different flavors. You can try both savory & sweet ones here. The girls are very friendly & nice. When you step into this cafe you immediately feel as if you've arrived at your grandma's house & she is cooking this gorgeous dish for you. Thank you! ❤?🇺🇦
