My heart exploded entering this place. I'm Ukrainian-American & the varenyky tasted like home. We had cabbage & potato filled, with sour cream, caramelized onions, & dill. They also had white kvas!! I was surrounded by my language & music & folk art, great food but even better atmosphere.
Excellent restaurant with good service & cozy atmosphere. Perogies & borsch were absolutely delicious. I tried potato, cabbage & sour cherry perogies & all were insane. I absolutely recommend.

Potato & cheese pierogi was delicious! Made fresh to order & a cute mom & pop shop. They were even giving out some samples of their kasha which is a porridge served during Christmas. It was very tasty.
Not a fan. Perogies were very very mushy with a potato mash inside that was far too smooth, creamy, & oily. The onions were also sooooo soooo greasy! I felt sick after eating only a few
The borscht was good though. Could definitely use more flavour, but it's a pretty cozy soup.
The potato & cheese pierogi were cold & too oily, but the cabbage pierogis were good. Borscht was ok. Sadly everything is served in takeout containers even if you eat inside. You need better spoons too!
By FAR my favorite place I ate while visiting Montreal! I can't recommend this place enough, definitely stop by for a bite.
The food was excellent, the staff was incredibly friendly. There's a lovely little patio to sit at outside the shop.
10/10 perogies. I ordered the patates/ cheddar, a portion of 6 perogies for $11.
The potatoes were smooth & creamy & the cheddar taste was sharp & perfect. I wish I could have taken them home with me!

Got the plain potato pierogi this time, & it comes with traditional toppings of sour cream & caramelized onion. It was delicious, & the pierogi was cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly too.
A little neighborhood gem serving what can only be described as big bites of comfort; Pierogie Lili offers a small menu of homemade pierogies in a small & colorful space decorated with floral murals.
The food is unassumingly simple, deeply fulfilling & heart-warming, & certainly delicious. The pierogies are heavily stuffed & are sure to satisfy any hunger.
The potato & cheddar is a classic choice that merits its popularity among its crowd. The filling is onctuously smooth with a cheesy flavor.
The staff are very kind & welcoming. They were highly accommodating & open to questions, & offered some complementary meat pierogies for us to try. We certainly felt well taken care of.
All in all, I was delightfully surprised by my experience with Pierogie Lili. This little homely spot has left its mark in my heart with the warmth that radiates from its hospitality & its food.
What a cute find for one of my favourite comfort foods. Good variety of savoury potato pierogies with some sweet options as well. I'll be back to get some frozen stash for home. Service was friendly & summer time cherry lemonade was refreshing & delicious. YUM!
Been meaning to try this place out since its right next to Kem coba! I visited on a rainy Friday & it's very cozy. The staff is so nice & the decorations are beautiful. There's not much seating but this is the perfect thing to get on the go & eat outside on a sun day.
I got the cheddar potato Perogie & they were so soft, warm, flavourful, & filling. I especially liked the topping of sour cream, dill, & caramelized onions.
A new must stop for me in this neighborhood! I want to try the vegan borsch next time! They have a great menu full of monthly new flavours & creations.

Skip the line at the bagels & gnocchi & come to this fairmount gem instead. The cheddar potato perogies have the smoothest most delicious filling, almost like a puree at Montreal's best fine dining restaurant. 10 stars. Limited seating, but too good for that to matter.
Stopped by for lunch the other day. Upon entering, we were impressed by the cleanliness & delicious scents of something yummy being cooked in the kitchen. We were greeted by 2 very friendly & helpful ladies who explained the choices available. I had the meat filled & my sweetie had the potato cheese. Both came covered in caramelized onions & sour cream. Yumm. The fireweed tea is not to be overlooked, the perfect accompaniment. & it would be a shame to not try the sour cherry perogies, oh my!
It's definitely worth the trip & we are looking forward to another visit.

I visited Ukraine Restoran Perogie Lili with friends & was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere & the incredible quality of the food. It immediately reminded me of how my mom used to cook-the smell, the taste, everything felt so authentic.
The borsch was rich & flavorful, & the Carpathian tea added a perfect cozy touch. I tried the perogies with potato & cheese, & they were soft, perfectly cooked, & full of taste. I also tried the meat ones-absolutely delicious. The chef really knows what they're doing.
This place offers a true homemade Ukrainian taste. Easily the best I've had so far. Highly recommend!
Hidden gem spot in Mile end for authentic Ukrainian food, highly recommend! Try the freshly made borscht & varenyky (potato & cheese, cherry for dessert)
What a great addition to the Mile End food scene! The potato perogies with onions, sour cream, & dill are absolutely fabulous. A true classic like mamma used to make!
& the sweet cheese perogies are equally delicious! 😋 Friendly staff & creative artwork round up this must go to place!
10/10 would comeback & buy the bulk perogie. Got the sweet cheese & potato cheese, they don't skim on the bacon. The borscht is hearty & warm, really suitable for winter days 💕
