Excellent restaurant with good service & cozy atmosphere. Perogies & borsch were absolutely delicious. I tried potato, cabbage & sour cherry perogies & all were insane. I absolutely recommend.
Got intoxicated with either the borsch or the perogis. The food wasn't even hot when it arrived. However, the service is warm & the employees are nice. But spent the whole day sick & it started one hour after eating there.
Not a fan. Perogies were very very mushy with a potato mash inside that was far too smooth, creamy, & oily. The onions were also sooooo soooo greasy! I felt sick after eating only a few
The borscht was good though. Could definitely use more flavour, but it's a pretty cozy soup.
The potato & cheese pierogi were cold & too oily, but the cabbage pierogis were good. Borscht was ok. Sadly everything is served in takeout containers even if you eat inside. You need better spoons too!
The perogies are 10/10 they have the best texture & favour with lots of flavour & topping options. They are fresh & homemade & you can really tell. The borsch is also really good.
My daughters & I love this spot! We have tried all of the perogies & the borscht. The atmosphere is comforting & welcoming. Friendly service! Highly recommend!
Been meaning to try this place out since its right next to Kem coba! I visited on a rainy Friday & it's very cozy. The staff is so nice & the decorations are beautiful. There's not much seating but this is the perfect thing to get on the go & eat outside on a sun day.
I got the cheddar potato Perogie & they were so soft, warm, flavourful, & filling. I especially liked the topping of sour cream, dill, & caramelized onions.
A new must stop for me in this neighborhood! I want to try the vegan borsch next time! They have a great menu full of monthly new flavours & creations.
Perogie Lili (126 Av. Fairmount O, Montréal, QC H2T 2M5) - this is a nice little spot where you can dive into the taste of real Ukrainian cuisine & feel right at home! 🇺🇦
The menu isn't huge, but you can find all the main favorite dishes. It's very clean & beautiful inside, with a warm & cozy atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. ✨
The staff is just wonderful, very pleasant & beautiful girls working there, always with a smile & ready to help. 😊
& their borscht is simply magnificent! Rich, aromatic, with a deep flavor. & the pierogies (varenyky) are incredibly delicious - you can tell everything is made by hand & with heart, following the best traditions. 😋 Every dish feels like it's warmed with care.
If you want to try real Ukrainian borscht & pierogies in Montreal, & experience a heartfelt warmth & hospitality, this is definitely the place for you! I recommend Perogie Lili with all my heart! 👍
I visited Ukraine Restoran Perogie Lili with friends & was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere & the incredible quality of the food. It immediately reminded me of how my mom used to cook-the smell, the taste, everything felt so authentic.
The borsch was rich & flavorful, & the Carpathian tea added a perfect cozy touch. I tried the perogies with potato & cheese, & they were soft, perfectly cooked, & full of taste. I also tried the meat ones-absolutely delicious. The chef really knows what they're doing.
This place offers a true homemade Ukrainian taste. Easily the best I've had so far. Highly recommend!
Hidden gem spot in Mile end for authentic Ukrainian food, highly recommend! Try the freshly made borscht & varenyky (potato & cheese, cherry for dessert)
