My sister & I visited Pâtisserie Samadi on the day of Eid to treat ourselves. We bought an assorted box of pastries, & honestly, their maamoul was absolutely delicious! The quality of the sweets is excellent & fresh.
However, the customer service was really disappointing. Both women working there were unpleasant & unwelcoming. We greeted them politely, but they didn't even respond, not a single smile or acknowledgment. It truly felt like we were bothering them. The only friendly & respectful person was a man working there, who greeted us with a smile & made us feel welcome. Thank you to him! Such amazing pastry should come with good quality serive.View more

We had such an incredible experience at Pâtisserie Samadi & Fils on Gouin. This place is a treasure for anyone who loves traditional Middle Eastern sweets. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with the rich aroma of fresh pastries, nuts, & warm hospitality.
We tried a wide variety of items - baklava, nammoura, maamoul, pistachio rolls, & of course, the legendary kaak with knafeh - & everything was absolutely perfect. The kaak with knafeh was especially unforgettable: warm, soft bread filled with gooey, sweet cheese knafeh & just the right touch of syrup. It's the kind of dessert that makes you stop mid-bite & smile. A must-try!
& let's talk about the Arabic coffee - smooth, rich, & perfectly spiced with cardamom. It was the perfect pairing for the sweets & honestly one of the best coffees we've had in the city.
The staff were very friendly & welcoming, & they took the time to explain the different types of pastries. The store was clean, beautifully organized, & had an amazing selection of ready-made gift boxes - perfect for any occasion.
Whether you're stopping in for a quick treat or looking to bring home authentic Arabic desserts, Pâtisserie Samadi - Gouin is the place to go. We came from the South Shore & it was more than worth the drive. Can't wait to return again soon!View more

I can't say enough great things about Samadi Sweets & their exceptional customer service! My order was unfortunately lost by UPS, but Zakariya went above & beyond to make sure I received my sweets. He quickly arranged for a replacement shipment & kept me updated throughout the process. The dedication & care he showed were truly outstanding.
& of course, the sweets themselves were absolutely delicious-fresh, authentic, & full of flavor. This level of service & quality is rare to find. Patisserie Samadi is our to go to sweet patisserie, they're one of the best in Canada, every year it's a must to order online, unfortunately we live in BC province & they're located in Montreal but online ordering made it easier & their delivery service is one of the best so efficient & on time. Staff are cooperative & Zach(owner) so genuine & kind to speak to, they are quick responsive on instagram message if you require to ask any question regarding your order. Their Baklawa uhhh so delicious from Namoura with Almonds, Haddaf & Bourma with Pistachio, Assabi with Cashews ahhh crunchy & it melts in your mouth, if you've never ordered or tried unfortunately you're missing a lot. & their Kunafeeee ayyyyyayyyy we tried when we were visiting Montreal 2 years ago, it's ya 3in wya leil, thank you Samadi for your presence in western countries, your Baklawa feels like home, we're proud of you! On Oct 22 / 2023 visited for knaffe the place very convenient for free parking inside very bright spacing setting loved the area with the sofas like sitting room the countertop full of delicious deference selection of sweets you want to try everything all done with care & passion price very reasonable comparison to other places the service amazing from a very happy polite smilling staffs they take the time to make sure costumers are happy & the serving very neat & the taste worth every penny soooooooo deliciousView more
