I came in for a simple lunch, hoping for a soup-&-sandwich type of meal. I have to say, the place felt genuinely authentic, & the food matched that feeling-simple, wholesome, & homemade. I ordered the pork sandwich, & it was excellent. The bread had the perfect crunch, & the meat was incredibly juicy & moist, with just the right amount of fat. I'm usually not a fan of fatty cuts, but in this case it absolutely belonged; without it, the sandwich wouldn't have been as authentic or as flavorful. There was also a perfect balance of tang & spice.

My curiosity got the better of me, so I finished with a cappuccino & their well-known house-made cannoli. I consider myself picky about cannoli-especially after having the real thing in Italy-& this one was spot-on. The cappuccino was just right as well.

Although lunch came to $45 before tip, I'm still glad I had the experience. That said, a $50 lunch won't be a weekly habit for me.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. I ordered a $20 sandwich to go, which was fine-pretty average, nothing I'd go out of my way for again. But the real letdown was the customer service. When I tried to sit down to eat it inside, the waitress told me I couldn't because it was a takeout order. When I asked if she was serious, she replied,'There's a bench outside,' in a tone that felt dismissive & unnecessarily rude.

For a $20 sandwich, I expected better-not just in flavor, but in how customers are treated. I left feeling unwelcome, which is a shame because with a bit of warmth & flexibility, this could've been a much better experience.

Really a very good Italian food... You can find there a great offer of traditional Italian pasta including cacio pepe... also I recomend the porchetta sandwich....

First Time Visitor New to the Neighbourhood!
Great staff. Great food. I've had the Lasagna from takeout before & it's delicious. I had the Porchetta Sandwich this time...Just go pick one up! Chef's Kiss!
