Bonne portion mais la qualité & l'exécution ne sont pas au rendez-vous
Repas partager: Demi-poulet (le meilleur des items que nous avons manger. Il était excellent) + saucisse merguez (correct) + légume courgette frite avec fromage bleu (pas assez cuit, il aurait été intéressant de la faire griller & ensuite paner?)
Boire: cidre maison (il était excellent)
Pour un endroit qui prends ses légumes directement de sa ferme, j'ai trouvé que ceux-ci n'étaient pas mis en valeur beaucoup dans les plats & le grill au charbon n'est pas assez exploité selon moi.

Nous avons bien mangé, mais la cuisson manquait à certains plats. Selon moi, le poisson & le porc étaient un peu trop cuits. Le vin recommandé était excellent. Les légumes & les accompagnements étaient très bons. Les portions étaient généreuses & les prix raisonnables.

We arrived at Papito right when they opened so we had the space almost entirely to ourselves & we absolutely loved our dining experience here. Definitely our favorite restaurant in Montreal so far! The prime rib was perfectly cooked & tender, amazingly flavourful, & all the vegetables were super tasty. The ambiance is very lively, & their playlist was 10/10, super nice vibe to come with friends or family. Our servers were all very friendly & made our experience very memorable! Will be coming back when we return to Montreal

Fantastic local spot with a great atmosphere! Plenty of delicious meat options, fresh sides, & an absolutely charming terrace.

Nous y étions en famille pour un anniversaire. Une formule chaleureuse un peu « comme à la maison ». Les grandes tables idéales pour les groupes. Le serveur était adorable & la carte des vins intéressante. On a bien mangé, c'était gourmand & sans surprise.

Unfortunately, this place falls short in many ways.

1. Their attempt at a minimalist menu only creates confusion as to how an item is prepared & what the portions are like, which puts more burden on the waiters to answer more questions. Some items are already market price. This makes choosing items take longer & waiters are held at tables for longer, causing service to run even slower.

2. Service was very slow. Half of our order came fairly quickly, the other half took almost an hour after to arrive. This made the sharing experience very lackluster. While clearing our tables, our waiter also tried to take away our sauces that WE PAY FOR when our meats hadn't even arrived & also never gave us new napkins.

3. The flower arrangements & lighting are pleasant to the vibes, the music is unbearingly loud & the industrial building causes sound to travel everywhere. Our party had to step outside several times for a breather because it was simply too much, & we could not hear each other very well let alone the waitress when she would ask us questions.

Another important note I'd like to add for women: we struggled keeping our purses on the chairs. Waiters would bump into them & never pick them up. This is not very pleasant when you have expensive purses. One of our friends became increasingly frustrated with this. We're not sure if that's what they were designed for, but we eventually placed our purses on the wooden stand by our feet.

4. I'm not sure if I perhaps misread the dessert selection, but we ordered 2 flans & were incredibly disappointed by them. Neither of us finished it as we dislike cheesecake & the flan was more of a queso flan so the cream cheese taste was not what we expected.

Items are very expensive for what they are. We paid 500$ & left this place unsatisfied. I will not be coming back.

Excellent food, great selection of fresh farm to table products. Menu changes often so great place to go to over & over again!
